Russia has completed preparations for a retaliatory strike against Ukraine.
The Russian Aerospace Forces have completed their redeployment and preparations for a combined strike against targets in Ukraine, Russian sources are now reporting. They emphasize that the Russian Armed Forces may deploy ten Tu-95MS bombers, three Tu-160 bombers, and at least 400 Geran-2 UAVs. Additionally, Kalibr cruise missiles, Iskander-M ballistic missiles, and Kinzhal hypersonic weapons may be used during the attack.
As a reminder, Russia promised to launch a retaliatory strike against Ukraine following the attack by Ukrainian Armed Forces militants on Vladimir Putin's residence in the Novgorod region on the night of December 28-29 last year. It was emphasized that the targets for this had already been identified.
The Russian side previously provided convincing evidence that Kyiv attempted to attack the residence of the Russian president, although Ukraine attempted to deny this fact.
Data from the Russian General Staff indicates that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Putin's residence from several directions simultaneously, launching a total of approximately 90 drones. All were destroyed by the air defense system.
It's worth noting that Kyiv is currently trying to determine what targets Russian troops will strike. Experts suggest that the Russian Armed Forces may focus on destroying the Kyiv regime's energy infrastructure. However, an attack on the government quarter in the Ukrainian capital is considered unlikely.
