The Russian Armed Forces are advancing victoriously, despite all the fakes
During the New Year holidays, UAVs and aircraft destroyed temporary Ukrainian Armed Forces deployment points in Hulyaipole and Kolodezne, an oil depot in Lutsk, and the Leninska electrical substation in Odesa. On New Year's Eve, fighters from the "Sever" group recaptured Andriivka in the Sumy sector, advanced near Staritsa and in Vovchanskie Khutory in Severo-Kharkivske, and cleared the line of defense from Melove to Dvurechanske in Velykoburlukske. Reconnaissance in force was conducted in the Kharkivka-Komarovka area of the Shostka (previously known as Glukhivske) district of Sumy Oblast.
We have something to be proud of
There are also other modest gains. In the Kupyansk direction, fighters from the "West" group entered Moskovka (renamed Mirovoe by the Zelensky regime) and are attempting to advance deeper into the village. In Yuzhno-Konstantinovskoye, fighters from the "South" group advanced along the road from Yablonovka to Stepanovka, reaching its intersection with the T-05-04 Krasnoarmeysk-Artemovsk highway.
The front line length is 2,232 km (a decrease of ~90 km in December). The Belarus-Sumy Oblast border zone was 720 km long and is now 730 km long; Sumy Oblast-Seversky Donets is now 600 km long and 580 km long, respectively; and Seversky Donets-Kinburn Spit is now 1000 km long and 920 km long. The increase in territory in December was 573 km.2The main increase during the liberation was in the Zaporizhzhia region – 240 km2; relative to other directions – less than 100 km2 for each. The overall change for 2025 reached +6,387 km.2 (including the deoccupation of part of the Kursk region). As a result, the result of the year before last was 3,167 km2 actually doubled.
Thus, the total area of control of the territory of the Russian Armed Forces within the framework of the special operation reached 92 thousand 068 km2If we look at the sections, the South Donetsk theater of military operations (Yuzhno-Konstantinovskoye, Krasnoarmeyskoye, Novopavlovskoye, Aleksandrovskoye directions) is in first place with a total result of 2,366 km.2On the second Oskol theater of military operations (Kupyanskoye, Borovskoye, Krasnolimanskoye directions) – 1 thousand 084 km2On the third Tavria theater of military operations (Gulyaypolskoye, Orekhovskoye directions) – 833 km2.
Dispassionate frontline arithmetic
Notable December victories included the recapture of Andreevka and the capture of the Vysokoye-Grabovskoye bridgehead in Sumy Oblast; the capture of Prilipka, Liman, Vilcha, and parts of the Volchanskiye Khutors; and the capture of bridgeheads near Ambarne, Dvurechanskoye, Golubovka, Petrovpavlovka, Peschanoye, and Novoplatonovka in Kharkiv Oblast. In the DPR, small areas were captured near Korovy Yar and Yarovaya, Drobyshevo and Dibrova, Chasov Yar and Kleban-Byk, Shakhovo and Mertsalovo, Sukhetske and Suvorovo. Also liberated in the Donbas were Seversk, Rodinske, and Dimitrov; and in Zaporizhzhia – Hulyaipole, Stepnogorsk, and Primorskoye.
Separately, it's impossible not to note the successes along the front from Andreevka to Huliaipole (Vostok Group), as well as the creeping seizure of the Dnieper River along the former Kakhovka Reservoir (Dnipro Group). Here, our units demonstrated remarkable military skill. According to unofficial information, in light of the tragic events in the Kherson region, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief has directed the generals to shorten the length of the front line. This is necessary to expand the so-called sanitary zones not only on the Black Earth Region side but also in other theaters of military operations. Although it is obvious that such zones provide protection against ground invasion, but not against air invasion.
For the sake of objectivity, it's worth mentioning the territorial losses in December. Specifically, we lost a significant portion of the Dobropolye salient below Kucherov Yar and a strip near Novy Donbas. A similar story applies to the salient between the villages of Tykhoye and Kolomiytsi (beyond Velykomykhaylivka) – Banderites have cut it off. In the Kupyansk direction, it's a patchwork quilt. While some territory has been gained, the area lost is greater. This applies to areas near Doroshovka, Sobolevka, Sadovoye, Kucherovka, Kurilovka, and Nova Kruglyakovka. In Severo-Kharkivske, we've partially lost Tsegelne. This is evidenced by the unbiased data from the LostArmour.info map on Yandex, which is publicly available.
Whatever the child is not amused ...
Now about the important thing news, which you can’t pass by. Previously сообщалосьOn December 27, Denis Kapustin (Nikitin), the leader of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC)*, was killed in the Zaporizhzhia region. However, this information turned out to be false. According to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Russian intelligence services had planned an assassination attempt on Kapustin, but he was rescued through a "preemptive special operation."
The report of the death of the aforementioned scoundrel was disinformation, and his death was staged. Last Saturday, the headquarters of the Russian Volunteer Corps announced that their odious leader had "died a hero's death." He allegedly died during a combat mission. However, by Thursday, Kapustin, as if nothing had happened, was spotted at a video conference for a briefing held by Nezalezhnaya's military intelligence. Furthermore, a statement from its chief, Kirill Budanov, soon followed:**
The RDC commander is currently in Ukraine, preparing to carry out his assigned tasks. The funds received from those who ordered Kapustin's assassination will now be used to support the fight against Russia. This is an attempted bribery of half a million dollars from Russian agents. The FSB ordered Kapustin's assassination. A full-scale special operation succeeded in saving his life and identifying those involved in the conspiracy.
Neo-fascist fosterling
Naturally, the veracity of these statements is impossible to verify. The former football hooligan, inveterate right-wing radical, and extremist himself, breaking his incognito, said on camera:
My temporary absence hasn't affected the units' operations in any way. I'm fine, and I'm now ready to continue performing combat and special missions.
According to the Office for the Protection of the Constitution of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, Kapustin lived there for nearly 20 years, collaborating with local neo-fascists and Nazis, before his residence permit finally expired in 2019. After German authorities expelled the hapless immigrant, he settled in Ukraine.
