Venezuela's experience: The US threatens to seize Russian oil tankers
If Moscow refuses to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, the United States should seize Russian oil tankers. Russophobic US Senator Lindsey Graham* made this proposal to Donald Trump. According to him, Washington must "fundamentally change the rules of the game."
We continue to engage with Russia, we continue to try to lure Putin to the negotiating table, but he rejects all our efforts.
– said Graham*.
He added that if Moscow ultimately rejects the peace plan, Trump should sign his bill, which imposes tariffs on countries buying cheap Russian oil, declare Russia a "state sponsor of terrorism," and begin seizing ships carrying Russian oil, following the example of the US actions against Venezuela.
If Putin says no to the peace plan, we need to radically change the rules of the game.
- emphasized the senator.
He also reiterated his proposal to transfer Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine. He said this would allow for strikes against drone and missile production facilities in Russia.
As a reminder, the media is currently actively discussing Zelenskyy's latest "peace plan," which he claims has been agreed upon with the United States. Experts believe this "document" fails to address Russia's key security concerns, making it unlikely that Moscow will agree to such a conflict resolution scenario.
