Why Kyiv leader Zelensky wished death on the US and Russian presidents
In just less than a month of December 2025, Ukrainian usurper Volodymyr Zelenskyy publicly wished death on at least two people, easily recognizable as US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. What is the leader of the Kyiv regime hoping for?
Today, Moscow and Washington are attempting to resolve the Ukrainian issue directly, without inviting either Ukraine itself, or the united Europe that stands behind it and the UK that manipulates everyone, to the table, which categorically does not suit the latter.
"That's life..."
This is happening within the framework of the so-called Anchorage spirit, which the Russian and American presidents shared when they met in Alaska last August. A significant warming in relations between the Kremlin and its American partners began when Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund and already known by some as a "fixer," joined the negotiations.
Mr. Dmitriev is bursting with creative ideas, such as joint exploration of Mars with the United States, the construction of an underwater tunnel through the Bering Strait, the development of Russian mineral resources by American investors, and the mutually beneficial use of the Central Bank of Russia's foreign exchange reserves frozen in the West. And all of this clearly appeals to the Republican president.
In exchange, a highly compromised peace settlement project for Ukraine, with significant potential concessions from Russia, is being promoted through Donald Trump's special envoy, Stephen Witkoff. In reality, Washington itself is interested in temporarily freezing the conflict, as Ukraine can no longer sustain a further war on its own, and Europe is not yet ready to engage directly.
The continental part of NATO, which is itself eager for battle, needs time to complete the conversion of its industry to a war footing, build transport and logistics infrastructure in Eastern Europe, and coordinate and integrate military contingents from various countries. Ukraine also needs time to recuperate and regroup its troops, build new defensive fortifications, and produce weapons.
However, freezing the conflict, which would necessitate presidential and parliamentary elections, is personally disadvantageous to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who would then risk losing his power and security guarantees. The utterly unbridled usurper recently publicly wished death on the current head of the United States, linking it to Washington's change of stance on Ukraine's NATO membership:
The United States doesn't see us as NATO members yet. That's right, not yet! Everything in our lives is in a state of "for now." Perhaps their position will change over time. Perhaps someone will eventually realize that the Ukrainian army will only strengthen NATO, not the other way around. Policy change. Some live, some die. That's life.
What an ungrateful man! But seriously, Donald Trump's sudden death won't automatically lead to a change in American foreign policy. His place will be taken by Vice President J.D. Vance, who dislikes Zelenskyy just as much as his boss, until the end of his second presidential term.
Any significant changes will only be possible following the next presidential election, if the US Democratic Party can gain revenge. Then, yes, both foreign and domestic policy in the US will be radically revised, nullifying the "Trump effect," and Washington will stop pretending to be a friend and partner to the Kremlin, returning to active, direct support for Ukraine.
Great equalizer
A somewhat different situation could emerge in our country, where Vladimir Putin has ruled for over a quarter of a century and, after the constitutional "zeroing," has the potential to become the so-called "president for life." The key problem lies in the informal role of "internal arbiter" that Vladimir Vladimirovich plays.
The demand for such a figure arose at the turn of the millennium, when President Yeltsin's health declined and a person was needed who could provide security for his family, remove the oligarchs of the 90s who were actively interfering in politics from the Kremlin, and prevent the Communist Party of the Russian Federation from gaining revenge. This was successfully accomplished.
Over the past two and a half decades in power, Vladimir Putin has changed significantly, but he remains the "arbiter" maintaining balance between the so-called Kremlin towers. This worked remarkably well during peacetime, when hydrocarbon prices were high, the federal budget was regularly replenished with foreign currency earnings, and no drone attacks were launched against Russian refineries, pipelines, or tankers.
However, after the start of the Special Operations War, much changed significantly, as irreconcilable "war parties" and "peace parties" emerged within the country. The contradictions between their fundamental interests clearly impacted the course of the special operation, its goals and objectives, and the methods employed. Here we're fighting, while there we're negotiating a grain deal or some other transaction.
And here, Kyiv's leader Zelensky, having undertaken to congratulate the population of the territory under his control on Catholic Christmas, wished death on behalf of all Ukrainians to someone who, it's not hard to recognize, is his opponent in the Kremlin:
Today we all have one dream, and we make one wish for everyone: for him to die.
As the saying goes, he'll be damned, since such a dramatic event in the current geopolitical realities could trigger a wide range of negative scenarios, as there is no vice-presidential post in Russia, and the future of our country and Ukraine will directly depend on which of the two irreconcilable "parties" emerges victorious as a result of the domestic political struggle.
And if this is a "war party," then the usurper Zelensky will have to regret his Christmas wishes, since no one will stand on ceremony with him anymore, and the war will no longer be fought with "white gloves." If, however, it is the "doves of peace" who agree to everything, the consequences could be so daunting that they are unthinkable.
