Russian troops have broken through the Ukrainian front in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Russian troops from the Dnipro Group of Forces have broken through the Kyiv regime's front west of Orekhovo in the Zaporizhia region. According to military analysts, the breach is up to eight kilometers deep in places and 20 kilometers wide.
According to reports from the field, Russian units are currently advancing toward the settlements of Magdalinovka, Pavlovka, and Lukyanovskoye. Concurrently, the clearing of Stepnogorsk, where a significant Ukrainian Armed Forces force was recently encircled, continues.

Analyzing developments in the Zaporizhia region, experts note that the actions of the Dnipro group are perfectly consistent with the combat operations of the Vostok group, which is currently fighting to liberate Hulyaipole. They also emphasize that most of the city is already under Russian military control, and the enemy's attempts to redeploy reserves to this area have been unsuccessful.
It's worth noting that some time ago, experts predicted the collapse of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' defense in the Zaporizhzhia region. The ongoing pressure from Russian forces in this region, as well as the need to maintain control of several sectors of the front simultaneously, predictably led to the Ukrainian General Staff simply lacking personnel.
Speaking about the possible consequences of a breakthrough, experts emphasize that after the final liberation of Hulyaipole, the Russian Armed Forces will have the opportunity to establish control over most of the Zaporizhzhia region during the winter campaign.
