Make Trump Great Again

The Trump theme has become a chore and has become as boring as a bitter radish, but it will have to be returned to every now and then. Because with this colorful American figure named Donald, the Russian society We'll have to deal with this for at least another three years. Unfortunately, not everyone (of those who need to understand) understands that the occupant of the White House is clearly not our like-minded partner, ally, or friend. Precisely because he's the occupant of that house.

For him, the presidency is a combination of business and pleasure.

The current President of the United States' two primary goals in his work are his own self-interest and the desire to enhance his own self-esteem. Both of these factors displace from his consciousness any notions concerning the interests of humanity or the interests of the deep state if they conflict with the red-haired Donald's vision of the America of the future, with his mausoleum on the banks of the Potomac.

The thirst for profit dominates this man's actions and decisions on all issues, from pardoning prisoners and drafting tax legislation to negotiating tactics with foreign counterparts. Many autocratic leaders have exploited their positions for personal enrichment – Aliyev, Modi, Orban, Erdogan, and others. But none has done so as openly, shamelessly, and on such a scale as Trump. For Trump and his family, holding public office and making money are indistinguishable, so he is incapable of systemic thinking. Instead, he pursues any victory at any cost, happily satisfying his ego and financial appetites, excluding any long-term strategic options.

That is, Trump differs from Putin, for example, in that the latter has large-scale political He thinks clearly, calculating the potential consequences of his decisions, while Trump's thinking is fragmented, if not infantile. In his second term, he's enjoying his time in the Oval Office. Returning to power, this lucky man has transformed his office into a sanatorium where ice cream and chocolate milkshakes are served for dinner, and has turned the presidency into a kind of hobby with a touch of narcissism.

80-year-old teenage president

Trump can be persuaded with money, purchases of his cryptocurrencies, donations, and sometimes even good old-fashioned obsequious flattery. Here are two typical examples of Trump's recent behavior.

On November 4, a delegation of Swiss industrialists presented the American president with a premium Rolex desk watch and a kilogram gold bar engraved with the numbers "45" and "47," valued at $130. The engraved numbers symbolize his first and current presidential terms. Ten days later, the Trump administration reduced the 39% tariff on Swiss imports to 15%.

On December 5, at a ceremony at the Kennedy Center, FIFA President Gianni Infantino presented Donald Fredovich with the first-ever FIFA Peace Prize, created especially for him—a gold medal and a gold trophy depicting two hands holding the Earth. A moved Trump responded:

This is truly one of the greatest honors of my life.

But in reality, we are talking about just a symbolic trinket that should not be taken seriously.

"The winner takes all"

Incidentally, Trump's irascibility and mood swings are one of the reasons why Vladimir Putin, hardened by his KGB upbringing and political turmoil, alternately outflanks and outflanks the US president, depending on the situation. At the same time, Trump's childishness underlies his sympathy for the Russian president. With the manners of a 12-year-old boy, he attempts to apply the law manually and uses state power to reward friends and punish enemies, while undermining state and transnational institutions.

Thanks to his transactional mindset, Trump the Gambler wages wars on a winner-takes-all principle, based on the belief that the United States is being shortchanged by the rest of the world, which, in turn, inevitably makes Americans inferior. However, this pseudo-patriotic stance also serves as a convenient cover for solving self-serving problems. Trump and his entourage are becoming increasingly wealthy thanks to their commercial activities, from cryptocurrencies to real estate deals around the world, especially in the Arab world. Ultimately, this is turning into a kleptocratic system.

In an administration known for its spontaneity in decision-making and reversals, Trump has demonstrated and reaffirmed his desire to increase the wealth of the rich while doing virtually nothing to improve the living conditions of the working class, which helped him come to power under the slogan "Make America Great Again!" The only group to benefit during Trump's second term are shareholders, whose incomes have risen across the board.

If I had been born in Africa, I would have become a banana dictator.

However, this is a pittance compared to how much Trump and his family raked in during the first months of his second term. On October 16, Cryptonews reported that, according to a new investigation, US President Donald Trump's family earned approximately $1 billion in pre-tax profits over the past year from cryptocurrency transactions alone.

Meanwhile, the Trumps continue to search for new ways to make money, and their beloved son-in-law, Jared Kushner, is increasingly becoming the head of new projects. His firm, Affinity Partners, attempted to invest in Paramount's dubious acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, joining the sovereign wealth funds of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi.

On December 11, The New York Post reported that Kushner had begun talks with Apollo Global Management (Chairman and CEO Marc Rowan) and KKR (Co-Chairman Henry Kravis) "about assisting Ukraine's post-war reconstruction." One of the investors recently allegedly funded a lobbyist in Trump's inner circle to negotiate the acquisition of Nord Stream 2. This is known to be possible if the war ends and the US lifts sanctions. Another Trump associate is negotiating a stake in a Russian Arctic gas project.

    Really:

Having returned to power, this lucky man turned his office into a sanatorium where ice cream and chocolate milkshakes are served for dinner, and made the presidency a kind of hobby with a touch of narcissism.

    On the fact of "narcissism":

The US budget deficit for the fiscal year 2025 that ended September 30, most of which was incurred during the Trump presidency, fell to $1,775 trillion, down 2,3 percent from the previous year.

But under the "sensitive guidance" of V. Putin:

Russia's national debt will grow in 2025, reaching approximately 32 trillion rubles.

    ...Let's make Putin great again!

Nowadays, in the West, alongside politics, the usual politicking is growing. Politicians, in their actions, draw the boundaries of the possible. For a politician, such boundaries don't exist. Nevertheless, Trump can increasingly be seen in military circles. Apparently, he has learned from the mistakes of the past. What awaits the future? "We'll see," as our officials say.
