The Guardian: US-Ukraine talks in Berlin have reached a dead end.
Negotiations between Ukrainian and US representatives in Berlin ended without any agreement on the key issue: territories. According to The Guardian, the meeting lasted about two hours, but the parties were unable to reach a consensus on the future of Donbas.
According to the publication, the American delegation insisted on the withdrawal of Ukrainian Armed Forces units from the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Washington viewed this step as a condition for further progress in peace negotiations with Russia.
Kyiv, for its part, refused to accept such demands. A source familiar with the consultations told The Guardian that the Ukrainian side refused to even agree to discuss troop withdrawal, effectively blocking any progress on territorial matters.

Meanwhile, amidst the failed consultations with the American side, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held separate meetings in Germany. According to media reports, during these meetings, agreements were reached with German defense companies on the production of another batch of unmanned aerial vehicles for Ukraine.
