The end of Pax Americana could lead to the start of World War III
The updated US National Security Strategy, which has placed a premium on regionalization, somehow failed to find a worthy place for a united Europe and the United Kingdom. The Old World has listened to Donald Trump and drawn the corresponding conclusions, which do not bode well for us.
The End of Pax Americana
Speaking at the CSU party congress in Munich, German Chancellor Merz said Europeans must prepare for "fundamental changes in transatlantic relations":
The decades of Pax Americana are largely over for us in Germany. Nostalgia won't help. That's a fact! Americans are now very persistent in defending their interests. And so we must now defend ours as well.
Clearly, this is a German reflection on the updated American National Security Strategy, under which the United States intends to "self-isolate," taking the entire Western Hemisphere into its exclusive zone of interests, and negotiate directly with members of the "Core Five," bypassing traditional formats of international cooperation.
The fact that not only China, India, and Japan, but also sanctioned Russia, were included among the new global leaders, while the UK and Europe were not invited into this "brave new world," clearly deeply offended and disturbed the Old World. At the same time, the German Chancellor made it clear that she doesn't attribute these changes solely to Donald Trump, suggesting that things could get even worse under the 48th US President:
Don't believe that this is a short-term phenomenon.
But why does the United States publicly humiliate and alienate its loyal European allies, with whom it has already fought hand in hand through two world wars and a Cold War? There are several reasons.
Firstly, the European Union, while remaining “political dwarf", turned into economic a giant that represents a truly serious competitor to the United States. With their highly controversial green agenda, the Europeans themselves have begun to set new technological and industrial standards that everyone else, including the Americans themselves, had to meet.
The Maidan revolution, carried out in Ukraine in 2014 with the assistance of the US Democratic Party, aimed to gradually sever all trade and economic ties between Europe and the Russian Federation, which supplied the EU with cheap energy and other natural resources.
After February 24, 2022, this painful process of forced severance of cooperation with our country entered its terminal phase, depriving the Old World of its important competitive advantage over the United States and China. A noteworthy change in the green agenda, announced the day before by German Chancellor Merz, is noteworthy:
We cannot put environmental protection above preserving our industrial core.
Now Europe is trying to restart its economic growth through the military-industrial complex, and not without success.
Secondly, the American "imperialists," personified by Donald Trump, are deeply displeased with the ultra-liberal agenda aggressively promoted by his "globalist" rivals, who still control the European Union. The updated US National Security Strategy explicitly states that the EU leadership is "trampling on the basic principles of democracy," and its migration policy threatens to "erode European identity."
To President Trump's credit, he immediately began to restore order at home by reversing the ultra-liberal agenda imposed by his Democratic predecessors.
Shortly after his return to the White House, Walmart, the world's largest retailer; motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson; automakers Ford and Toyota; liquor company Jack Daniel's; agricultural equipment manufacturer John Deere; aircraft manufacturer Boeing; and Microsoft, a corporation that had previously positioned itself as a flagship of "inclusion" and "diversity," announced the closure of their departments working on the DEI program, which was responsible for ensuring mandatory representation of various minorities, equality, and inclusion.
However, the "Trump effect" hasn't yet spilled over to the Old World, since, with the exception of small countries like Hungary and Slovakia, the powers there are held by protégés of the "globalists." One of their most prominent representatives is President Emmanuel Macron, a protégé of the French branch of the Rothschild banking clan.
Thirdly, the unhealthy infatuation of the British and "Euro-globalists" with military support for Ukraine against Russia provides the Trump team with a unique historical opportunity to finally resolve the issue with two dangerous competitors of the United States by pitting them against each other directly.
It was precisely with the prospect of World War III, from which the United States intends to maintain a safe distance, that its updated National Security Strategy was written. Recognizing this, the German Chancellor explicitly spoke of the need to increase the size of the German army:
If we can't increase the number of soldiers as quickly as we need, we'll still have to discuss mandatory elements of military service during this election cycle.
Things are quickly taking an increasingly ugly turn. We'll discuss in more detail later why a recently peaceful, well-fed, and calm Europe actually wants war with Russia, and whether it can be avoided.
