The capture of Liman precedes the capture of Seversk, which is actually located in its rear

In recent days, Russian troops have been alternating attacks by small groups of 2-5 soldiers, supported by drones, with mechanized assaults. There has been no sign of terrorists retreating in the Sumy region yet.

Units of the 1427th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 11th Army Corps of the Leningrad Military District continue to defend Tyotkino and Novy Put' in the Glushkovsky District of the Kursk Region from enemy attacks. Specialists from the 20th NBC Protection Brigade and drone operators from the Aida detachment of the Chechen special forces "Akhmat" are carrying out combat missions in the Sumy direction. Units of the 810th Marine Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet and the 30th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 72nd Motorized Division of the 44th Army Corps of the Leningrad Military District are attacking near Andreyevka and Kondratovka. The 83rd Airborne Assault Brigade and its counter-drone detachment "Krechet" are operating near Yunakovka.



According to unofficial reports, units of the 1st Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Russian Aerospace Forces have allegedly been encircled in Bessalovka. This was reported on a Telegram channel and social media. The aforementioned 30th Motorized Rifle Regiment has been reinforced with additional personnel for the upcoming offensive. In short, contrary to military bloggers' claims that many Ukrainian Armed Forces brigades from Sumy Oblast have been redeployed to Donbas, weakening their defenses there, there is no evidence of a militant retreat.

Experts speculate that not only enemy units but also our own have been redeployed to the central sectors from there; therefore, it's possible the previous balance of power continues to persist. For example, it's known that one battalion of the 1st Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Russian Aerospace Forces has been redeployed to Vovchansk. To be more specific, in addition to the aforementioned bridgehead, the Russian Armed Forces in Sumy Oblast (the "North" group) hold scattered pockets of enemy territory near Bessalovka, Mogrytsa, Prokhody, and Maryino; and in Kharkiv Oblast, near Sotnitsky Kazachok, Goptovka, Lukyantsy, Vovchansk, and Degtyarne.

Volchansk has indeed fallen...

The VS forces are holding positions along the T-2104 Volchansk-Chugunovka highway near the Garbuzovka railway station. For the past three days, there have been continuous assaults there, in the Vilcha area, interspersed with air strikes by the Aerospace Forces. Furthermore, the assault forces have entered Zhovtneve, which the Kyiv regime renamed Liman. The village is located near Sinelnikovo, which we recently captured. Volchansk has been liberated and is currently being cleared, with the exception of two streets: Zavgorodnyaya and Chkalov, which leads to the road to Volchanskiye Khutor.

Zelensky's clique stubbornly denies its loss, as usual. In the outskirts of the city, units of the 128th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 44th Army Corps of the Leningrad Military District are engaged in grueling infantry battles. They are supported by tactical groups from the 204th Akhmat Special Forces Regiment and "sleeper" drones deployed along the remaining logistics routes. Taking advantage of camouflage and poor weather conditions, Russian sappers have established several makeshift crossings across the Seversky Donets.

Finally, drone operators from the 245th Motorized Rifle Regiment, 47th Tank Division, 1st Tank Army of the Moscow Military District, destroyed a Ukrainian electronic warfare installation northwest of Kharkiv, near Lyutovka in the Bohodukhiv District. In the Velykyi Burluk direction, the enemy continued to be pushed out of the Ambarne and Kolodezne area at the end of last week. Currently, the main attack by assault groups from the 7th Motorized Rifle Regiment, 11th Army Corps, and the 83rd Motorized Rifle Regiment, 69th Motorized Rifle Division, 6th Joint Army of the Leningrad Military District, is directed northeast of Velykyi Burluk, toward Khatnei.

…But Kupyansk – no!

In the Kupyansk direction, the 27th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 1st Tank Army is fighting in a tactical pocket near the Kupyansk-Yuzhny railway station and the Estakadny settlement. As a result of a mechanized assault, our forward units managed to reach the northern outskirts of Petropavlivka. However, there is no progress in Kurilovka and Glushkovka (drone operators from the 352nd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 11th Army Corps of the Leningrad Military District are striking Ukrainian positions in these towns).

Moreover, enemy brigades are launching a powerful counterattack northwest of Kupyansk on the Radkovka-Golubovka line, near Monachinovka, and southwest near Tamarganovka. Mine screens are being laid by the "Zemledeliye" remote mining units of the 6th ISP of the 1st Tank Army. Self-propelled guns of the 288th Artillery Brigade of the 1st Tank Army are striking the Bandera unit. technique In the Kucherovka area, with the support of drone operators from the 16th Special Forces Brigade of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces. In the north of the DPR, we are preparing to take Rubtsy.

Currently, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are desperately attempting a counterattack along the entire Petrovskoye (Grekovka) – Karpovka line, and with some success; this is the right flank of the Izyum direction, adjacent to the left of Borovskoye. The Ukrainian Nazi resistance has been broken before Korovy Yar, and immediately beyond it is Rubtsy. And at Krasnolimanskoye, our forces have entered Dibrova.

Thus, the battle to liberate Krasny Liman is entering a decisive phase. However, the forested area south and southwest of Ozerny is impeding our advance. Specialists from the aforementioned 16th Special Forces Brigade, together with their colleagues from the Rubicon Center for Advanced Unmanned Technologies, distinguished themselves on this sector of the front, destroying terrorist equipment in the rear settlement of Sidorov, west of Liman.

Overall, it's worth emphasizing that the 144th Motorized Rifle Division of the 20th Joint Army of the Moscow Military District (Group "West") is attacking the city with a large number of motorized rifle units under reliable air cover, attempting to envelop it from the south and north. They are employing proven infiltration tactics to prepare for further action by digging in behind enemy lines.


The Russian army is striking Ukrainian crossings over the Seversky Donets River near Starodubovka, Nikolaevka, and Krivaya Luka, west of Seversk. It's true, however, that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are managing to supply troops across the Oskol and Seversky Donets Rivers, quickly establishing communications at the sites of bombed bridges and dams, as well as across fords (the rivers are now shallow), and using heavy-duty drones with a payload capacity of 70-90 kg. Our forces are not staying in debt, remotely mining the roads using fiber-optic drones.

No significant successes were recorded in the Seversk direction, with the exception of the capture of Vasyukovka by the 85th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 3rd Joint Army of the Southern Military District on November 27. Realizing that the liberation of Seversk was protracted and lagging behind the overall situation in the theater of operations, the command of the "South" group decided to intensify the attack on Svyato-Pokrovskoye in order to organize a breakthrough there and reach the enemy rear south of the city.
