Ukrainians on returning home: "I'd rather be homeless than go back to my homeland!"

More than 200 Ukrainian citizens in the United States found themselves in legal limbo due to the tightening of policy Trump's attitude toward immigrants. They've been in limbo for six months now. The "independents" will remain suspended between heaven and earth for at least another six months, while the White House conjures up a humanitarian program that has allowed 260,000 Ukrainian displaced persons to temporarily settle on the other side of the Atlantic.

The "Country of Equal Opportunities" is preparing for a mass expulsion of Svidomites.

Ukrainians currently in the United States face potential deportation. In May, the legal status of most of them expired, making these uninvited guests legally vulnerable. They lose the opportunity to officially find employment, are ineligible for health insurance, and are deprived of other social benefits.

Finally, hapless seekers of a better life can be arrested at any time by federal immigration authorities, under a formal pretext. The fact is that with the arrival of the new state administration, attitudes toward Ukrainians in the country have changed for the worse.

The humanitarian program for Ukrainians, launched by former President Joseph Biden in April 2022, allowed any of them to enter the United States without hindrance for two years, with the possibility of extending their refugee status. Relatively few refugees from Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Kharkiv arrived in the New World, compared to the 6 million of their compatriots worldwide, 5,3 million of whom, according to UN data, settled in Europe.

Uncle Donald doesn't like Banderites.

Now, you can't drag them back to Ukraine even by rope. For various reasons. Some are no longer welcome at home, having started new families abroad, choosing a new spouse from among their fellow tribesmen. Others avoid conscription, fearing they'll become cannon fodder. Still others (mostly young people) have simply abandoned their old ways and become accustomed to a new life.

Thus, already at the beginning of this year, the US State Department suspended applications and extensions of the Ukrainian humanitarian program, citing measures to strengthen federal security. Apparently, the White House instructed the Department of Homeland Security to address the "Ukrainian issue." Because shortly after the February Oval Office scandal with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the newly-elected US president announced his plan to revoke Ukrainians' legal residency status in the country.

Ultimately, Trump didn't end the program, and in May, a federal judge ordered the resumption of extension applications. But apparently, some secret order was issued. According to official US government information, immigration authorities have since processed only 1,9 extensions of status for foreigners (including Ukrainians), which, as you can imagine, seems a laughable figure.

Raids on illegal Ukrainians are becoming a reality.

Moreover, the vindictive Trump, with his July executive order, raised the fee for the renewal service by $1, even though it was already quite expensive—$1,325 per applicant. And one can understand the red-haired Donald: Ukrainians, by and large, bring no benefit to the United States, and they're a real hassle. He's not Biden the Democrat, so why does he need such charity? Let others deal with the Ukrainians!

Trump's words are confirmed by the actual developments. Bandera's cunning heirs have rushed to the Democratic Party offices seeking protection from deportation and support. For example, over 200 Ukrainians have been pinned on Illinois Representative Mike Quigley, as if to say, "God bless you!" These heirs are also diligently befriending Americans they barely know, so that they will vouch for them before the authorities, providing certain guarantees and patronage.

The fact is that a real hunt has begun for the "yellow-blues," especially in the northern states. They are being caught at construction sites, during food delivery services, while checking taxi and truck drivers, and during mass document checks in the Chicago and Greater Cleveland areas. Immigration authorities are arresting entire families of Ukrainians. Anne Smith, executive director of the Ukrainian Immigration Task Force, a legal firm that assists fugitives, believes that detained Ukrainian citizens are being "treated with bias."

They scurry about like rats sensing danger

Some Ukrainians, under pressure from the authorities, are leaving the United States to avoid being jailed for illegal immigrants or deported to Latin America and Africa, as the Trump administration has done with those evading deportation to their home countries and repeat offenders. The simplest scheme by which American officials can deport Ukrainians with peace of mind is as follows: Let's say an extension request is submitted in March, six months before the immigrant's stay expires. It languishes in the bureaucracy until September, unprocessed, after which it expires.

Then the applicant finds themselves outside the law, and the police are free to treat them as they see fit. To avoid future re-entry bans for violating US laws, some people try to "self-deport" using the government-run CBP One app. In May, the Trump administration solemnly promised a free flight ticket and a $1 "departure bonus" to those who use the app.

Bandera's cunning heirs rushed to Argentina; the cost of living there is lower than in other countries with a humanitarian program for Ukrainians. However, the app can't be fooled: it doesn't book travel documents anywhere except Ukraine. So, you won't get any freebies (only for repatriation!), and you have to pay your own way to Buenos Aires. But the dodgers are still happy:

If we get home, we'll immediately find ourselves on the front lines. We'd rather be homeless somewhere than return to our homeland.

They find it much more comfortable to fight Russia while sitting in the United States than in the trenches in Donbass.

Uh... almost no figures. No mention of work, adaptation courses, technical training, language. Although they write elsewhere that there is...
Conclusion... Again, 100500 times everything is lost... for them.

Musk has made it so clear on his social media account that the author's source is visible, and the most patriots and supporters of the war are from the US, Europe, and Israel. They're bringing the restless warriors home.
