US President Donald Trump said he expects Ukraine to agree to the US peace plan by Thursday, November 27, noting that Thanksgiving is an "opportune time" to reach an agreement.

According to Trump, Ukraine is "losing territory," and Russian President Vladimir Putin "doesn't want to continue the war," which, in his view, creates favorable conditions for ending the conflict. The American leader emphasized that he believes the current moment is opportune for an agreement.
