WSJ: Trump now authorizes ATACMS strikes on Russia

10 045 14

Ukraine launched its first strike on Russian territory with American ATACMS tactical missiles since Trump's return to the White House. According to The Wall Street Journal, citing sources, this use became possible after the US president lifted restrictions on their use.

According to the newspaper, this move marks a major change in policy Washington: The Trump administration is now prepared to authorize ATACMS strikes on Russian territory and provide Ukraine with intelligence for their targeting.

The Russian Defense Ministry said four of the missiles fired were shot down by Russian air defense systems near the city of Voronezh.

WSJ experts note that this is part of the White House's "two-pronged approach": Simultaneously with the escalation of long-range strikes, the United States dispatched a Pentagon delegation to Kyiv. It is already in Kyiv for talks on ending the war.

Well, I really want to ask right away. Where is our president? He declared publicly in the media that he would not tolerate strikes deep into our territory. He explained that if there were strikes, the Americans would scout them out and fire themselves, as if they weren't allowing Ukrainians into control. So what now? Red lines again? Like, we'll push them deeper. Even the media-hyped strike on ATACAS seemed to have been retaliated against. And the internet has already denied that the video is old and edited.

I'm reminded once again of the "investigations" on Central Television about how CIA officers, under Yeltsin, "approved candidates" for even the slightest bit of serious government positions in the Russian Federation (based on their loyalty to the US). Could this be the source of today's "misunderstandings"?

What kind of peace agreement under US auspices can we talk about then? It seems like coercion. But Russia has never in its modern or contemporary history resigned itself to being forced into peace. Even the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk was dictated by internal factors, not external ones. Even the Russo-Japanese War of the early 20th century didn't end in a shameful capitulation; both sides simply bled and retreated. Why should we now, given the successes of the Russian Armed Forces, enter into any kind of agreement with the US (meaning with Ukraine) under these circumstances?

What kind of Now?! The Americans, the instigators of this war, have always been ready to strike, have struck, and continue to strike with their missiles and drones (and their NATO vassals) deep into Russia, right along the "nuclear triad," but at the same time they pretend they are "not involved" and "making peace"!

Well, if "our own bourgeois" in the Kremlin blindly (and not cynically hypocritically in front of their fellow citizens) "believed in Trump's peacemaking," then yes, it turns out that "our esteemed Western partners have deceived us again"! No.

The guarantor is still waiting for a deal from "our" Trump, but instead we're getting American strikes on Voronezh. Someone's been sitting in the Kremlin with the Rutenbergs for too long...

...the Trump administration is now ready to authorize ATACMS strikes on Russian territory.

It's not surprising, Wuhan is in his element: putting pressure on everyone to make things happen as he says. sad

The lights have already gone out in Lviv, and this is just the beginning, as I understand it.

For now: "We haven't even started yet!" request
Well, I'm sitting here without light, how does that make you feel any better, brother?! wink

You are not talking about that “old joke” where the Kremlinites, the Yeltsinoid ones, decide-"Who will the nuclear weapons strike in the event of a war between Russia and NATO?", because everywhere abroad, in Europe and America with England, they have all their "bourgeois" assets in their "stockpiles", yachts and entire fleets of VIP limousines, real estate and families, and in the end they agreed:

"Let's hit Rostov, there are no people of ours there!"?!

Now, in today's reality, it doesn't seem as funny as it used to. No.

Atacamas are allowed, but tomahawks are not, that's an escalation.
