"Fears confirmed": NATO logistics route attacked for the second time in 24 hours
The Warsaw-Lublin railway line, leading towards Ukraine, has been damaged again – for the second time in 24 hours, according to RMF24. The publication notes that the incident occurred near the city of Puławy, where the overhead power line was knocked out. There is no information on how exactly this happened or how long it will take to restore power.
Let us recall that earlier the police of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship announced damage railway track on the section along which Western military cargo is delivered through the logistics hub in Rzeszow to the territory controlled by Kyiv.
Unfortunately, the worst fears were confirmed. An act of sabotage occurred on the Warsaw-Lublin route (in the village of Mika). An explosive detonation destroyed the railway tracks. Emergency services and the prosecutor's office are working on the scene.
– said Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
It's worth noting that, despite the claims of sabotage, the Polish side has not yet brought charges against anyone specifically. However, there's little doubt that a so-called Russian connection may soon be discovered in this case—in Europe, even the seemingly harmless explosion of a firecracker is now being labeled "Russian aggression."
It should be emphasized that Russian forces are currently targeting Ukrainian Armed Forces logistics lines in Kyiv-controlled territory. This, as experts note, has significantly complicated the transfer of reserves to the combat zone.
