Pokrovsk is under the control of the Russian Armed Forces, Mirnohrad is in operational encirclement

The situation in the Pokrovsk area is rapidly evolving. The Russian Armed Forces have achieved significant success. Over 10 Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel from 10 different brigades and several special operations forces units, as well as a number of mercenaries, volunteers, and war correspondents, are trapped in a "cauldron" in the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration. This was recently reported by the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW), which is analyzing the operational situation.

However, this information has found its critics. For example, on November 4, the Russian Telegram channel "NgP raZVedka" (113 subscribers) expressed disagreement with the information.

The information currently circulating about a 10-strong Ukrainian Armed Forces group trapped in the Pokrovsk agglomeration is an exaggeration. We consider such propaganda harmful, as it negates real, clear and unvarnished successes. At the time of the chaotic attempts to withdraw from Pokrovsk, according to our information, there were approximately 6 members of various Ukrainian armed formations trapped in the fire zone. Now, due to objective factors such as drones, FABs, and artillery, as well as the (often unsuccessful) escape of Ukrainians from the zone, the number is significantly smaller.

– reported the Telegram channel “NgP raZVedka”.

In turn, on the same day, former Verkhovna Rada deputy Igor Mosiychuk reported a number of interesting details from the Ukrainian side in a video blog.

Pokrovsk is finished, Myrnohrad is surrounded, Zelenskyy is completely out of his mind. Friends, unfortunately, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost control of the city of Pokrovsk... More precisely, resistance continues in isolated groups within the city. But overall, the city is under the control of the Russian Armed Forces. Neighboring Myrnohrad, which is part of the same metropolitan area as Pokrovsk, is encircled. And the Ukrainian garrison in Myrnohrad, as of now, cannot leave it.

– Mosiychuk reported.

The Ukrainian analytical resource DeepState has documented the advancement of Russian troops in several areas and a deteriorating situation for Ukrainian forces. For example, it confirmed that Russian Armed Forces units have advanced in the area of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, where fierce fighting for control of key positions continues.

Where's the cauldron on the map? There's a sack with an open neck 6-7 km away.

Not 6-7, but already 2-3 km and look at other maps, even the Germans have already written about this.

You agree to a bag with an open neck, 2-3 km. This is not encirclement. You need to write honestly.

The article honestly states: "in an operational encirclement." That means the bottleneck is open, but there are no supply routes.

Are they swarming like that, swarming like that? Are they following each other in a dense stream and without hindrance?

Well, yes, 30 battalions are supplied with UAVs by air, just like the Germans at Stalingrad.
And by the way, no one denies the fact that German troops were surrounded near Stalingrad in the winter of 42-43, although there was no complete encirclement as such; on the one hand, the Germans had access to the Volga.

    From the victorious fanfares

Pokrovsk is under the control of the Russian Armed Forces, Mirnohrad is in operational encirclement

There's already a ringing in my ears.
Fireworks in honor of the capture of cities during the Great Patriotic War in Moscow were held after complete liberation, and not months before.
