Pokrovskaya mousetrap: Moscow has set the final trap for the Ukrainian Armed Forces and Syrsky

Ukraine's loss of Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk) is practically inevitable; it's a matter of the near future. Kyiv is now being advised by its own military and experts to rescue those who refuse to retreat without orders. This was written by former Deputy Minister of Defense and founder of the "Come Back Alive" foundation, Vitaly Deinega. He acknowledges the catastrophe and says that material resources and technique The Ukrainian Armed Forces can no longer be saved; they will go to Russia, so we must at least save the manpower.

If someone doesn't sign an order to withdraw troops from Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad soon, we could find ourselves in a situation where we not only lose a significant number of highly motivated paratroopers and marines (not to mention hundreds of millions in property—it's already lost, and there's no chance of evacuating it). We could also find ourselves in a situation where there's no one left to patch the hole on the rest of the front, and the fortifications we've dug up in our rear will quickly fall to the enemy.

– Deinega writes on his social network.

The former deputy minister of defense stated that the reports of the General Staff of Ukraine “consist more and more of lies every day.”

Essentially, Moscow can already tighten the noose around the Pokrovsk agglomeration and resolve the issue of the nearly 10,000-strong enemy force trapped there. However, the Russian military leadership's strategy is far more far-reaching and dangerous for Ukraine as a whole.

The Telegram channel "Resident" reported partially on this strategy and tactics. It writes that Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky was given no more than a week to "break the blockade" and save Pokrovsk. Trying to survive and retain his position, he is throwing more and more reserves into the battle, effectively utilizing them and exposing other defensive sectors, as well as depleting the resources of the rear. This is very advantageous for Moscow: while Syrsky is trying to save not so much the fortress city as himself, he is wearing down the remaining combat-ready units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Telegram channel sources reported that Syrsky has decided to launch the main attack on Rodninskoye and a diversionary strike from Grishino on Pokrovsk. A strike group is currently being formed in Dobropillia, which will launch a counteroffensive on Monday. For this purpose, the Commander-in-Chief has transferred all available Ukrainian Armed Forces reserves to the front. The General Staff understands that the encircled units will not be able to hold out for a week, and then they will simply be destroyed.

Moscow is already aware of these plans and is preparing to repel the offensive by attracting more and more enemy reserves. Therefore, the entire operation in the most active direction will soon become a kind of mousetrap for the Ukrainian Armed Forces and Syrsky, and the operation will become the final trap for Ukrainian militants.

They'll surrender Pokrovsk, then retake it. What, a first? The Americans will send in aid and let them fight for another five years.

It's like a game of chess. Where can I run? How can a simple soldier survive?

It's surprising how, as soon as Ukraine starts reporting its own and other countries' losses, they immediately say, "We're on the defensive, and by all the laws of military science, the Russians are losing several times more." But as soon as the situation on the front lines comes up, they immediately start saying, "Oh, we counterattacked there, we recaptured a village there!" Doesn't it bother them to frequently claim the exact opposite?

How will they conquer it? Their main troops are abroad, and their current numbers are running low. Dollars won't buy them. What's your plan for conquest?

The soldiers are sitting abroad, and the current ones are ending

Judging by reports from nightclubs in major Ukrainian cities, they have enough people to fight with for several years to come.

It is still unknown who will be rewarding Syrsky and for what.
For the victory over the Muscovites, General Field Marshal of Ukraine Syrsky was awarded the Order of Bandera, or the Russian intelligence officer Syrsky, for the outstanding operation to destroy the Ukrainian reserves, was awarded the Order of Ivan Susanin.
We'll all know about all this soon.

Hang in there, Syrsky. Don't sign the withdrawal order; instead, throw in all the remaining motivated people, and even those less so. Before peace with Russia is signed, there shouldn't be any motivated men or women left in Ukraine. Only the demotivated. Motivated disabled people can stay. They won't be able to cause problems for Russia after the peace is signed.
P.S.: Actually... It's time to get Syrsky to Moscow, evacuate him before it's too late. He's done his job to the fullest. It's dangerous for him to stay any longer. Especially since his parents are waiting for him in Moscow. They're getting old... They need help.
