"Something terrible is happening": "Kinzhal" missiles hit power facilities in Western Ukraine
Last night, the Russian Armed Forces launched another combined strike against military facilities and energy infrastructure belonging to the Kyiv regime. It was reported that virtually the entire arsenal of weapons was used to destroy the targets. Emergency power outages are currently being implemented in many regions of the country.
According to enemy monitoring resources, the main targets of the nighttime attack were power generation facilities in western Ukraine. Specifically, the Burshtyn Thermal Power Plant, the Kalush Thermal Power Plant in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, the Ladyzhyn Thermal Power Plant in the Vinnytsia region, gas infrastructure facilities, and the Dobrotvir Thermal Power Plant in the Lviv region were hit.
Almost immediately after landing, power outages began to be reported in various regions of Ukraine. Some regions were completely without power.
Judging by the panic that reigned in the country's information space last night, all the goals of the strike were achieved.
Something terrible is happening
– the enemy’s resources complained, commenting on the numerous arrivals.
According to Ukrainian media, the Russian Armed Forces last night employed a well-established tactic, in which the main strikes on important targets are carried out with various types of missiles, and the "control shot" is carried out by Geran-2 UAVs.
Thus, it is reported that several Kinzhal missiles landed at the Starokonstantinov airfield, after which Geran missiles were fired at the same facility.
In addition to energy and airfields, Russian forces also targeted Ukraine's railway infrastructure. Ukrzaliznytsia reports that several lines in the western and central parts of the country are without power.
