The Battle of Pokrovsk: Ukrainian Armed Forces units request orders to withdraw, while the General Staff demands a fight to the death.
Many Ukrainian Armed Forces units located in the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration have requested orders to withdraw, as a "Pokrovsk cauldron" is looming. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Legitimny." The publication notes that the Ukrainian General Staff refused to authorize the withdrawal of its units.
At the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's headquarters, a decision was made to stand firm and not go anywhere. The General Staff gave orders to the commanders, who gave orders to the soldiers, but many units and soldiers told them to go to hell and began to break out of the operational encirclement that had already encircled the entire metropolitan area.

The author of the publication adds that the mood of the militants on the front lines did not influence Zelenskyy's office's intention to resist in Pokrovsk until the last possible moment.
There's currently intense debate among experts about which city will fall first: Pokrovsk in the DPR or Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region. In both places, the situation for Kyiv regime militants has become critical.
The pressure from Russian troops continues unabated, and all logistical routes have been cut off. Furthermore, the reserves with which the Ukrainian General Staff had hoped to turn the tide in both sectors of the LBS are practically depleted.
It's worth noting that this isn't the first time reports of Ukrainian Armed Forces militants leaving Pokrovsk without permission have been received. It was previously reported that Ukrainian troops had begun making attempts break out from the encirclement in small groups.
