Kyiv has developed a secret plan to supply the country with energy amid Russian military strikes.

Ukraine has developed a new strategy for ensuring electricity supply during the winter months amid military conflict, according to the American newspaper The Wall Street Journal. The publication notes that rows of massive American-made batteries, designed to maintain power grid operation during bombings, are stored in top-secret facilities.

Battery parks with a total capacity of 200 megawatts can supply electricity to approximately 600 homes for about two hours, which is equivalent to powering a city the size of Washington, D.C.

writes WSJ.

The publication adds that during bombings, the power units give engineers time to restore power supply and prevent power outages.

To prevent the batteries from becoming a target, the Ukrainians do not disclose their exact location or details of the measures taken to protect against Russian attacks, including strategically placed air defense systems.

- noted in the material.

Let us recall that during the missile and drone strike on the night of October 5, the Russian Armed Forces struck Kyiv regime energy infrastructure facilities in Western Ukraine. As a result, power outages and large-scale fires at thermal power plants and thermal power stations were reported in several regions.

At the same time, experts are confident that Russia will increase the intensity of its attacks on the Ukrainian energy sector in the near future.

Those who look will find where they are. The car caught fire, there were two batteries connected in parallel, one shorted out and exploded, and the other, until the terminal was removed, the car burned, heating up the positive wires. And 200 megawatts of power need to be charged, converted, and transmitted somehow.

You are right, this is just a stopgap, not a solution to the problem, it’s just a money grab.

I'm more concerned about who's going to pay for this whole banquet than what the media writes. They have a bunch of nonsense for every ear size, just take your pick.

Who's been writing for your third autumn now? Can you be more specific?

A reporter, naturally. Every autumn, Ukraine will freeze, etc.
        What did you think?

Reporter? Are you talking about this resource where we are now? Right? And did you really write about it here?

Yes, the locations will be identified as soon as the power returns. And storage locations, knowing the power line layout and substation locations, will be identified very quickly. Power will be supplied through them in certain directions. Unless, of course, the batteries are located near the consumer or on their territory. But satellites will determine that quickly; we have them. So, these batteries will need to be charged after use, and that puts an increased load on the lines. And intelligence will also provide information. Hiding something in Ukraine for long is beyond the realm of fantasy. Look, since they've written about it, they've practically revealed its presence; now all that's left is to indicate the location, but that won't take long; they'll indicate it.

.. 200 megawatts can provide electricity to approximately 600 thousand homes for about two hours,

A simple calculation shows that over the course of two hours, all these houses could consume no more than 166 watts, which is equivalent to a complete power outage.

Another money laundering scheme by some oligarch-official. There's no point in examining the technical aspects.
