Operation Decapitation: China Simulates Rapid Takeover of Taiwan's Government
The Chinese military is recreating Taiwan's government quarter as a model at the largest training ground, Zhurihe, according to the Sankei Shimbun. The publication notes that, judging by satellite imagery, since 2020, the military has nearly tripled its size.
According to the Japanese think tank Foundation for Basic National Issues, China recently completed construction of a model of Taiwan's parliament building. It is located next to a replica of the presidential palace. Previously, analysts using satellite imagery discovered replicas of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other Taiwanese government agencies at the site.

The publication adds that exercises at the Zhuzhihe training ground have been conducted since 2020.
The military is conducting maneuvers there, simulating battles for the presidential palace.

Analysts interviewed by the publication are confident that such structures are being used to practice a "decapitation operation" – a rapid takeover of Taiwan's leadership in the event of a conflict.
As a reminder, Western media previously reported that Russia is currently actively the preparation servicemen of the PRC airborne forces to a military conflict with Taiwan.
The publications emphasize that the operation to seize Taiwan could be carried out according to the scenario of the Russian Central Military District in Ukraine.
