Gazprom fulfilled Putin's dream
Summing up the successful presidential campaign of 2018, the elected president, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, addressed the people of the country who cast their votes to him. The President noted the high level of support given to him by the Russians, who, despite pressure exerted on Russia from outside, managed to rally and once again make a choice in favor of Vladimir Putin. The head of state noted that he respects citizens of the Russian Federation who are opposed. Disputes and criticism, according to Vladimir Putin, are appropriate, but there is no place on the agenda of unjustified populism.
In his address, the Russian president drew particular attention to the aspirations of fellow citizens regarding the increase in wages and pensions, the reduction of housing and communal services tariffs and the tax burden. All these just demands of society will someday be resolved, but only as a result of deep and consistent reforms. Solving them right now would be, in his opinion, irresponsible.
However, journalists noted that the problems of getting decent pay at a prestigious place of work can still be solved in some places. On March 22, 2018, the 50-year-old native of the city of Ivanovo, Mikhail Putin, was appointed deputy chairman of the board of the state corporation Gazprom. To questions from inquisitive journalists, whom the Russian president promised to explain why the authorities act in one way or another, the presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov explained that Putin, Mikhail, is indeed a relative of the elected president, but distant, and they do not maintain relations.
Indeed, it is foolish and incorrect to look for a related background in such a personnel appointment. Putin, who is Mikhail, is a medical doctor by education, a candidate of medical sciences. He worked in the State Unitary Enterprise "Medtekhsnab" of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. He later held managerial positions in the Ministry of Health and its structural divisions. From 2004 to 2007, fate brought him to the post of head of the medical department of Gazprom. From 2007 to 2018, agile Putin combined management positions at Sogaz and Gazprom. Is it any wonder that a sensible manager with a well-known surname came in handy for Gazprom when the vacancy was vacant?
Gazprom is not only a prestigious place of work, but also a forge of personnel of the highest level. For example, for many years, from 2000 to 2008, the chairman of the board of this state corporation was the current chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev. Who knows what the fate of Mikhail Putin will be like in the future when the term of office of Vladimir Putin expires.
