Stalin and his son: the slandered tragedy of the Leader

4
Speaking allegedly from the lips of Stalin and becoming not only a well-known, but just a textbook phrase: “I don’t change a soldier for a field marshal!”, In fact, is nothing more than a classic example of attributing words to Joseph Vissarionovich that he never said and decisions that he never made. Before us is a typical attempt to create the next “black” anti-Stalinist myth, which does not have a grain of truth under it. Now we prove it.

The story, which we will discuss below, has several common versions. Here they are, in short:

1. The son of Stalin, senior lieutenant of the Red Army, commander of the artillery battery, Yakov Dzhugashvili, surrendered to the Nazis on July 16, 1941, while trying to break out of encirclement in the Vitebsk region of present Belarus. He made active contact with the invaders, eagerly answered questions asked to him, spoke extensively about the weaknesses of the Red Army and the Soviet state, and the senselessness of resistance to the valiant Wehrmacht. After two years of wandering around the German concentration camps and his father's refusal to exchange him for Field Marshal Paulus, who was captured near Stalingrad, he committed suicide by despair, throwing himself at a high-voltage wire fence.

This, as you might guess, is the “version” invented by Goebbels and the company, widely spelled out by “The Felkisher Beobachter” and other “information horns” of the Third Reich. It is popular among a certain number of domestic anti-Stalinists and other “liberals” of the most heinous affliction.

2. Yakov Dzhugashvili fell into German captivity after being wounded. During interrogations and in the process of recruitment attempts, he behaved with dignity, did not agree to cooperation. All the "appeals" attributed to him by the Germans to the Red Army with calls to surrender are fake Goebbels propaganda. During his stay in the concentration camps, Jacob also showed courage and unbending character, rejecting all attempts to incline him to betrayal. In 1943, Hitler personally proposed to Stalin that he be exchanged for the battered commander of the Wehrmacht's Stalingrad group, but the Supreme, who, as you know, had a stone instead of a heart, puffing his pipe, stood in a proud pose and uttered a sacramental phrase about a soldier and field marshal. And what else could you expect from a bloody tyrant, who did not spare anyone else’s children or his own ?! True, later, Stalin allegedly “sent secret groups of NKVD saboteurs” to either remove Jacob from captivity or eliminate him. However, the idea was not crowned with success, and the Leader’s son was shot dead by the SS guard in the Sachsenhausen concentration camp on April 14, 1943.

This option is the most widespread, by the way, and is widely used by Western historians and their domestic colleagues in a “perestroika-revealing” sense. It is considered canonical in the Russian "democratic" party. Alas, a considerable number of quite normal people believe him.

3. Actually, the truth ... The eldest son of Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin, Jacob, was never captured by the Nazis. Not a minute, not a second - because heroically died in an unequal battle. Absolutely everything connected with his alleged stay with the Germans is a fake - from “interrogation protocols” to “evidence” of Jacob’s death in a concentration camp. If any exchange offers were made to Stalin, this was a clear provocation, to which he reacted, as it should be for the Supreme Commander-in-Chief during the war. I think by no means pompous words, but briefly and abusively. Nuances? Well, there were, of course, nuances - not without it. We will definitely talk about them in the process of proving our version of historical events. So...

To facilitate the process, let's imagine that you and I are juries, strict, but fair. We have to analyze the evidence and evidence in the case “Liars and provocateurs against Yakov Dzhugashvili”, which we will do - objectively and impartially. Let's start with the “material evidence” of the stay of Stalin's son in Nazi captivity. What we have? 1. Two protocols of interrogation. 2. A letter from Jacob to his father 3. A number of photographs depicting senior lieutenant Dzhugashvili in the company of German officers. Let's go:

Not a single protocol has Jacob's signature. Refused to sign? It is unlikely that he would have done this if we were to take at face value what he had allegedly expressed during the interrogations. There, at least half of the statements are drawn to "anti-Soviet propaganda and agitation," and the second to "the spread of defeatist sentiment." The protocols themselves are now in the Russian archives, and their texts are available on the Internet - you can be sure. In addition, it seems completely unbelievable that pedantic Germans, obsessed with the correctness of drafting the most trifling documents, would be satisfied with the interrogation protocols of Stalin’s son that were not signed by himself - because this automatically turns them into worthless pieces of paper. The question with the "interrogations" closes on this - this is not any evidence.

Regarding the letter of Dzhugashvili Jr., in which he tells his father how “civilized Germans” treat him well - regarding him, as well as the “diaries” that Jacob allegedly kept in Hitler’s camps, relevant handwriting examinations were carried out a long time ago. And far from amateurs were engaged in them, but specialists from law enforcement agencies who ate a dog on such things. The conclusion is unequivocal - fake. Moreover, if in some places there were attempts to more or less accurately copy the handwriting of Stalin’s son, then in many places the correspondence to the originals really written by his hand (and, as you understand, those FSBs have at their disposal) are simply zero. Not a line written by Jacob's hand after the fateful July 16, 1941, is in nature. It is proved.

Photos ... On one, Dzhugashvili is standing in the company of German officers with a languidly pensive look, and on the second, he is walking with them at the table, obviously in a high spirits, almost hugging. Similar pictures of him were posted on leaflets that thousands of Fritz poured onto the heads of the Red Army since 1941. This is generally the easiest moment. The fact that every single image of Stalin’s son, propagated by Nazi propaganda, is a complete fake, was proved during the Great Patriotic War - there were enough specialists in this field in the USSR. It got to the point that on one of the cards, Jacob is depicted with a uniform clasp located on the wrong side (on the "female"!). And the uniform, it seems, is the same - but the buttons ... Specialists immediately concluded: not having real photos, the goebbels scammers decided to use the “mirror” principle to get the effect of a different angle of shooting. But somehow they did not think about the buttons - they were in a hurry, probably ...

There was another puncture - even more serious. In one of the photos taken, allegedly in captivity, Jacob is depicted ... in his old sports jacket, which he often wore when he went fishing or hunting. Well, in any way she could not get to the Nazis - for the front line! Pure water fake, hastily made by primitive installation. By the way, this picture had very unpleasant consequences for Jacob's wife - Julia Meltzer. If the first fabricated pictures could be explained by the fact that the Nazis captured some photographs on the body of the murdered Dzhugashvili, then the cards where he was wearing that very jacket were available exclusively in the family album. You yourself understand what suspicions this brought to the NKVD. Especially - coupled with the moment that the Germans somehow painfully quickly deployed troops precisely to that section of the front where Stalin's son fought, as if they knew where to look for him. And the military address of Julia’s husband was known ... However, the “Beria breakers” quickly and accurately dealt with the situation - all suspicions were removed from the Jacob family. They were not even driven to Siberia. Strange, isn't it?

With the "evidence" that the Nazis had, we figured out. Now let's talk about the iron evidence that for some reason they did not have. Nazi propagandists were not able to present the world with a single newsreel shot with a prisoner, Yakov Dzhugashvili, or a minute of tape recording of his voice. According to these materials, the son of Stalin would be identified instantly! If he really got captured by the Nazis, and even if he himself were called, as the Nazis later claimed, in a day or two around James in Berlin all the cameras of Germany and its allies would be chattering. Why didn’t this happen? The answer is simple - modern computer of technologies, which made it possible to falsify film materials and audio recordings in any way, then there was no trace at all, so Goebbels’s mongrel could “farm”, with a maximum of photographs. Which, taken together, irrefutably proves that they failed to take the son of Stalin alive.

However, there were also “witnesses”. This part of the “evidence base” does not withstand any criticism at all. Among those who, it seems, recognized Jacob in the camps and talked with him there, there was not a single person who knew him before the war and before the “captivity”. Penny to such "witnesses" price. Well, the testimony of the camp guard and the "medical death certificate" of the camp doctors, I generally refuse to consider. Ridiculously. Who else are there in the “eyewitnesses”? Ah, yes - the whole Marshal Zhukov wrote in his memoirs that Stalin himself seemed to cry: “Yasha will not break out of captivity ...” I apologize, but Georgy Konstantinovich has, let's be honest, a few hypostases. And if Zhukov - the Marshal of Victory arouses sincere admiration and deserves eternal glory, then the same Zhukov, convicted of looting, or who came to self-praise to identify himself with St. George the Victorious himself - alas ... And, of course, there is no respect, no trust Zhukov - policies, accomplice and accomplice of Khrushchev and his gang. This is not a witness.

What do we have, as they say, "in the dry residue"? The firm belief that Yakov Iosifovich Dzhugashvili did not sit behind his father in the rear, and in July 1941 he died the death of the brave in the battles for freedom and independence of our Motherland, as a simple soldier. For which he - eternal memory and glory, like all commanders and soldiers of the Great Patriotic War. The Hitlerites, having discovered Jacob's body on the battlefield, tried to launch a colossal campaign of misinformation and lies to decompose the Red Army and personally discredit Stalin. In the camps, the role of Jacob was tried to be played by some rogue who went to cooperate with them, who later, as unnecessary, they eliminated. By the way, trying to arrange a provocation even from the death of false Jacob, there is evidence that everyone was preparing to present in such a way that supposedly "British prisoners of war killed Stalin's son."

The Supreme ignored all these attempts. Why? Well, certainly not from "heartlessness", but, one must think, because of the excellent work of intelligence, which reported to him the true state of affairs. However, I fully admit that in Stalin’s office there was someone who deserved trust, who saw with his own eyes the death of Jacob or his body. Famous in the German rear sabotage groups of selected NKVD special forces? But this, most likely, was. But not for the salvation of the Leader’s son, whom he had long mourned in his heart, but for the capture of that bastard who pretended to be Jacob, discrediting his blessed memory and casting a shadow on his good name. Perhaps - and for a closer acquaintance in the cellars of the Lubyanka with the organizers and performers of this infamous "special operation". However, these raids, alas, did not reach success. The whole Soviet people would have known about the positive result from the front pages of the newspaper Pravda - do not hesitate.

True, one more question remains open: What would Stalin have done if he had really been offered the exchange of his son for Field Marshal Paulus? To make any assumptions regarding such historical figures as Joseph Vissarionovich is an extremely thankless task, however, I will venture ... For some reason, it seems to me - his solution would be exactly as the legend says. Could the leader of the country, whose millions of sons and daughters were killed on the battlefields, languish in Nazi captivity, remain under German occupation, act differently ?! Especially - on the eve of new, no less brutal and bloody battles. In fact, the natural desire to save his child, dictated by fatherly love and all other human feelings, would be a betrayal in this situation. The betrayal of an entire nation, for whose fate Stalin was responsible. I am inclined to admit that the “historical” words about the soldier and the field marshal went to walk along the dugout soldiers, the crowded hospitals and the deserted houses of military widows, if not with the help, then with the knowledge of Stalin. It could not be otherwise ...

Personally, I have more confidence in his other words addressed to Jacob, said on June 22, 1941: “Go and fight!” Stalin really made his choice precisely at that time, having given to the altar of Victory the most precious thing he had - like millions of Soviet people who believed him.
