Lawyers for the arrested senator told the press that Arashukov Jr. is now preparing an appeal to the Russian president. In it, he intends to tell who organized the criminal prosecution of him, his father and other relatives, as well as provide facts regarding the bribery of the so-called "Killers".

He believes that the Arashukovs' family was involved in his arrest, who avenged him on the support of Fral Shebzukhov and Aslan Zhukov, opposition figures, whom Arashukov Jr. was suspected of involvement in the murder.
