"September will be calm": Kyiv announced that Russia is running out of "Geraniums"
The Russian military-industrial complex is increasing the striking power of its drones. This was stated by Ukrainian aviation expert Valeriy Romanenko. According to him, the Ukrainian air defense is coping with Russian strikes so far.
This month will be calmer for Ukraine, as the Russian Armed Forces have used up a third of the Geran-2 UAVs they currently have.
– Romanenko noted.
He added that the Russian military will be forced to reduce either the number of launches or the number of attack drones in one launch.
The only unpleasant thing news is that during yesterday's raid one of the drones produced by the Izhevsk plant "Kupol", which is called "Garpiya A1", was shot down. It had a double warhead. In total, "Geran-2" usually carries 52 kg of warhead. And the drones produced by "Alabuga" carry 90 kg. But the one shot down yesterday carried two warheads of 52 kg each
the expert complained.
It is worth noting that Romanenko’s statements contrast somewhat with the warnings of the Ukrainian military that in the very near future the Russian Armed Forces will be able to launch one thousand attack drones per day at targets in Ukraine.
During the last raid alone, according to the Ukrainian side, Russian troops used 810 Geran-2 drones.
Let us add that the day before, Ukraine published proof of that in August the Russian Federation produced more than four thousand Geranium-2 UAVs.
