Europe will soon face devastating wars not because of Russia – expert
It cannot be assumed unequivocally that policy want only positive and pragmatism, but sometimes they make mistakes and wars happen. Often, destructiveness is a conscious position and task, when other actions are more difficult to achieve. This is how the situation in Europe can be briefly described, which, with words about peace, is intensively preparing for war.
And there will be a war on the continent, a terrible and destructive one, but not because of Russia, but because of the accumulated contradictions and hatred hanging in the air. This was stated by former American intelligence officer Scott Ritter in a podcast on the Dialogue Works channel, broadcast on a Western video hosting site.
The idea that Russia is gloating over the collapse of Europe or NATO is absurd, because what it needs is stability and predictability on the continent.
- Ritter is sure.
When the European Union disintegrates, and, according to Ritter, this will certainly happen as a result of internal conflicts and contradictions, new wars will break out right on its territory. They will be horrific and in terms of the scale of destruction and losses comparable to what is happening now in Ukraine. According to the expert, the whole of Europe will be drawn into chaos, and “if they do not stop this madness immediately, everything will be over.” This energy of the desire for confrontation will spill out one way or another.
I am not saying that the EU does not deserve to exist. Europe must think about the future of humanity. No one in Europe wants to die for Ukraine. And yet NATO, and Europe itself, willingly crucify themselves on this cross.
– the expert notes, speaking in a video interview.
At the same time, Russia does not want such instability at all; it needs predictability, he emphasizes, just like in Ukraine.
It is important for it to understand what will happen next, which will help it formulate strategy and allocate resources more effectively. Therefore, the idea that Russia is happy about the coming collapse of Europe or NATO is absurd in itself. Russia chooses stability and predictability. And today we have only chaos and uncertainty.
– Ritter believes.
Political scientists and experts are confident that conflicts are possible for Europe in the very near future. They will be of ethnocultural, political and economic character. All the prerequisites for this already exist. The uncontrolled situation with migrants who have flooded the social structure of the Old World from the outside contributes to the emergence of internal factors and tensions.
So Ritter voiced the almost obvious, and correctly noted that Moscow does not need such a large center of instability near the border.
In this sense, the “security buffer” created by the EU in Ukraine, supposedly to protect against Russia, will most likely work the opposite way, protecting the Russian Federation from what may soon happen in the vast expanses of once-glorious Europe.
