Kyiv boasts of a “new” cruise missile capable of striking at a thousand kilometers

The Kiev regime, against the backdrop of Russia's destruction of the Sapsan missile production program, is demonstrating new capabilities that the Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly possess. In particular, the state account Zbroi published footage of a cruise missile, allegedly Ukrainian. Publics suggested that this was the first time a modification of the Ukrainian Neptune missile had been shown.


Initially, it was intended to destroy sea targets, but, as was stated later, it was adapted for strikes on land targets. According to users, the missile was tested back in March. It is capable of covering a distance of up to one thousand kilometers.



There are no other explanations for what kind of missile with X-shaped folding wings this could be. It is not named in the video itself. The videos of the launch are old, filmed during the Neptune coastal complex fire tests in 2018–2020.

Let us recall that earlier Kyiv showed the new "Ukrainian" Flamingo missiles, which they want to launch into mass production in the winter. Their declared range is three thousand kilometers. Experts drew attention to the striking similarity of the missile with the FP-5 Milanion, which was exhibited in February at the IDEX 2025 exhibition in the UAE under the name FP-5 Milanion, the manufacturer was declared to be the Emirati-British company Milanion Group 1114. "Flamingo" is an almost exact copy of the British FP-5 Milanion.

Let us add that the Kyiv regime’s ability to use Flamingo also raises great concerns. doubt in light of regular strikes by the Russian Armed Forces on key enterprises of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex.
