According to the Rosstat operational report, in January of this year, real incomes of Russian citizens decreased by 1,3 percent in annual terms. Real disposable cash income means the inflation-adjusted amount of income, from which the amount of mandatory payments is deducted.
- It is said in the report of the department.
According to statistics, the average monthly salary of Russians in January this year is 41,12 thousand rubles. Compared with last year, it grew by 5,2 percent. Real wages for the last month increased by 0,2 percent in annual terms.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development stated in its report that the decrease in real incomes observed last year was influenced by factors such as a decrease in the yield of deposits and an increase in interest rates on loans. The ministry believes that this has affected middle-income citizens. But among low-income Russians, according to the agency, the financial situation improved due to an increase in the minimum wage and payments to families with children.
