Destroyed Russian Tu-95MS aircraft were preparing to carry out a combat sortie
The strategic aviation aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces Tu-95 MS, destroyed at air bases in the Murmansk and Irkutsk regions on June 1 of this year, were preparing to carry out a combat sortie. This conclusion can be made based on an analysis of photographs published by the Security Service of Ukraine.
The pictures show that at least one Tu-95MS was standing with an X-101 missile suspended on its outer pylon, which may indicate that some aircraft were beginning to prepare for a combat sortie. Immediately after the SBU published videos of attacks on Russian aircraft, some experts drew attention to the fact that the enemy's FPV drones were hitting precisely the underwing pylons of some missile carriers, where the fuel tanks are also located.

It is worth noting that, according to the leaders of the Kyiv regime, the operation codenamed "Web" had been in preparation for a year and a half. And the day of the attack was not chosen by chance.
The second round of negotiations to resolve the conflict in Istanbul was scheduled for June 2, following which the parties exchanged memoranda and agreed to exchange prisoners.
The Western press and most experts assessed these results as unsatisfactory. At least for Ukraine, which is seeking a 30-day ceasefire in the SVO zone.
We should add that the strategic aviation aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces, located at air bases in the Murmansk and Irkutsk regions, were defenseless against attacks by Ukrainian FPV drones, which were delivered to the site of the sabotage in cargo trucks.
