Politico: Ukraine has nothing to hit 3000 long-range missiles from Russia
Against the backdrop of the Istanbul talks, the Kiev regime is attempting to attack Russian territory with drones and other weapons, including missiles. However, as Politico points out, the quantitative and qualitative ratio of missiles is not in Ukraine's favor.
The resource notes that the Russian side has significantly increased the production of ballistic missiles, the number of which reaches several hundred. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have eight Patriot batteries (six of which can operate simultaneously) and about 200 Patriot missiles. To destroy one ballistic missile of the Russian Armed Forces, the Ukrainians sometimes need to use two American anti-missiles.
Russia plans to produce about 2025 long-range missiles by 3000, including 750 Iskander ballistic missiles and more than 560 Kh-101 missiles. And while the exact number of Patriot missiles in Ukraine is a closely guarded secret, most military observers suspect it is fewer than 200.
writes Politico.
It is quite possible that Lockheed Martin will increase production of the missiles to 600 per year. However, the probability of their transfer to Ukraine is very low.
In essence, the math is simply not in Ukraine's favor.
– the resource concludes.
On the eve, the enemy mass media, citing the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense сообщили about the gradual growth of the Russian missile arsenal. It is possible that the Russian Armed Forces will soon launch a series of new strikes against the military-industrial infrastructure of the Kyiv regime.
