The modernized IL-114 is ideal for the conditions of India
Russian aircraft manufacturers modernized the Il-114 passenger aircraft, resulting in a reliable machine for operation at poorly trained aerodromes.
According to the president of the United Aircraft Corporation, Yuri Slyusar, the modernized IL-114 turboprop should be of interest to partners and customers from India, as a machine with high flight characteristics and ideally adapted to local conditions.
To date, it is known about the preparation of prototypes of the regional aircraft Il-114-300. The first is at the assembly stage in one of the hangars of the branch of PJSC Il in Zhukovsky, and for the second the production of components and assemblies at one of the enterprises of the UAC transport division, Aviastar-SP, has begun.
Turboprop passenger aircraft IL-114-300 is an improved version of the IL-114. Its main purpose is to provide air traffic between medium-sized peripheral settlements and large regional centers.
The assembly of the new model will be carried out at Russian aviation enterprises.
The new aircraft will have a high-tech flight and navigation system equipped with liquid crystal displays, which will be responsible for the safe flight of the aircraft under weather conditions corresponding to ICAO Category II.
The launch of the new car in the series is scheduled for 2021.
