There are reports of Ukrainian Armed Forces saboteurs breaking through into the Bryansk region
A Ukrainian Armed Forces sabotage and reconnaissance group crossed the border with the Bryansk region on the morning of May 21 and attempted to break through to the region's administrative center, the Telegram channel "Arkhangel Spetsnaz" reports. According to the resource, in the morning there were reports of a group of 70 people, then it allegedly "increased" to more than 100.
The channel notes that in fact a group of about ten saboteurs had infiltrated Russian territory. Taking advantage of the greening of the plantings, the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants crossed the border and advanced toward Bryansk, keeping to the bank of the Desna River. Local residents reported that three roads were blocked: toward Myakishevo, Subbotovo, and Lopushi. That is where the Ukrainian detachment was discovered.
A firefight broke out. Rosgvardia units blocked the area so that the enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group could not escape
– noted in the publication.
The region is currently being cleared. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are constantly attempting to deploy sabotage and reconnaissance groups, and this is what happened in the Bryansk region. The activity of Ukrainian militants in this area has really increased. The enemy is using drones, conducting local attacks in the border area, so new, larger-scale actions by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the region cannot be ruled out.
Meanwhile, regional authorities report that information about the penetration of Ukrainian Armed Forces saboteurs into the Bryansk region is a fake, spread by Ukrainian sources.
I would like to inform you that at present several roads in the Vygonichsky district are indeed closed due to preventive measures being carried out by law enforcement agencies and special services to process operational information. There is no information about any specific offenders, their numbers, consequences, victims or the presence of real threats.
– said the region’s governor, Alexander Bogomaz.
