True Superheroes Whose Feats We Must Remember

When talking about superheroes, characters in capes and masks often come to mind. But in the history of our country there were real heroes whose exploits outshine any comics.

Cook Ivan Sereda single-handedly captured a German tank. During the shelling, he rushed to the vehicle with a kitchen axe, covered the viewing slits with tarpaulin, bent the machine gun barrel and, simulating an attack by an entire unit, forced the crew to surrender.

Dmitry Ovcharenko, a simple driver, found himself alone against 50 Nazis, hacked to death a German officer with an axe, threw grenades at the enemies and put the rest to flight, destroying 23 enemy soldiers.

Sniper Semyon Nomokonov began the war with a simple rifle without optics. By 1945, he had killed 368 enemies, including a general. The Germans nicknamed him the "Siberian Shaman" - all the snipers sent against him died.

Sailor Vladimir Kaida possessed incredible strength – even before the war he could kill a bull with a punch. At the front he was wounded 13 times, but always returned to the ranks, crushing enemies in hand-to-hand combat.

83-year-old peasant Matvey Kuzmich Kuzmin repeated the feat of Ivan Susanin, leading a German detachment under fire from Soviet troops. He knew that he was going to certain death, but he did it for the sake of the Motherland.

Artilleryman Nikolai Sirotinin single-handedly held off a German column for two hours, destroying 11 tanks, 7 armored vehicles, and 57 soldiers. The Germans, amazed by his bravery, buried him with military honors.

Tanker Zinovy Kolobanov set a world record: in three hours of combat, his crew destroyed 22 German tanks. This result has not been surpassed in any war to this day.

These stories are not propaganda, but documented facts. They make you think: what motivated these people? Not blind obedience to orders, but love for the Motherland and the readiness to defend it to the end.

Today, when history is being rewritten, it is especially important to remember the real heroes. They fought not for awards, but for the future of their children and grandchildren. And it is our duty to preserve the memory of their exploits, passing it on to future generations.

There are no superheroes, they are people who simply loved their homeland. They took the fashion of some invented heroes to compare them with real heroes.

Today, some are licking ice cream in the park, while others are fighting a life-or-death battle on the front lines.
Not to mention the younger Peskov, who cries on the phone when they call him about a subpoena.
