Ukraine volunteered to replace Russia in the European gas market
Without a doubt, those in Ukraine who called for the introduction of a mandatory psychiatric examination for presidential candidates were right. And no matter who called, the main thing is that this would protect the state and its population from outright inadequacies and freaks.

Taruta is a “people's” deputy, an oligarch who fled from the Donbass, the former governor of the Donetsk region and the famous builder of an anti-tank ditch on the border with Russia.

Moreover, given the enormous reduction in gas consumption by industry throughout the years of "independence".
Moreover, even if the entire industry of Ukraine stops completely, and the entire population in a single rush passes to firewood, coal and “cow cakes”, refusing gas, this will not allow “patriots” to take a significant share in the European gas market. And do not forget that the forest needs to be regularly restored, and coal, in significant quantities, is located in the Donbass. So, “cow cakes”, taking into account the reduction in the number of livestock, will still not be enough for everyone, even if half the population of the “country of dignity” leaves for the European Union or Russia.
It should be added that when the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod gas pipeline was built in the late 70s and early 80s to supply gas from Siberia to Europe, the United States and Great Britain also organized tantrums and tried to twist the hands of continental Europeans. Since then, nothing has changed.
