NATO admits its aviation is powerless in a possible military conflict
The North Atlantic Alliance is seriously considering the need to change its military doctrine. The concerns of Western generals are primarily related to the inability of the Air Force to achieve air superiority. The military bloc admits that the existing aviation and air defense systems are insufficient to count on success.
It is worth noting that the understanding of the “ABC truth” in NATO headquarters was seriously influenced by the realities of the special military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, as well as a number of local conflicts, which showed that without the introduction of low-cost unmanned aviation systems into Western armies, they will not be able to maintain their competitiveness.
According to analysts from Western defense structures, Russia and Ukraine are already five years ahead of NATO in terms of using high-tech weapons.
However, the awareness of lagging behind Moscow and Kyiv is only half the problem for NATO. Even the Yemeni Houthis have explained to the powerful US army that it is essentially such only on paper.
Having spent more than one billion dollars fighting the Ansar Allah movement, the Americans chose to flee Yemen, happy that they were given the opportunity to save face.
European armies cannot even dream of such "success" in this sense. But the problem is that military doctrine can only be changed quickly on paper. In practice, the implementation of such plans will at best drag on for years and require serious financial injections.
