'Trampled reputation': SCMP readers on Pakistan Air Force successes over India

Readers of Hong Kong's English-language South China Morning Post (SCMP) commented news about the alleged aerial victory of Pakistani fighter jets of Chinese manufacture J-10C over Indian aircraft of French and Russian manufacture.

It is worth noting that it is still not entirely clear how many and what kind of aircraft the Indians lost. It is only known for certain that they lost one Rafale.

The comments are presented selectively, the opinions expressed belong only to their authors.

Despite all the claims and denials from both sides, one thing is for sure: Pakistan is happy with the purchase. Would Pakistan be so happy if the Chinese planes had not lived up to expectations? Just think about it.

India is much weaker in air force than China. With love to China, I write from Bangladesh!

Is this story true or false? I have no idea. But judging by the number of Indian fighters lost in simple accidents [before the war], it appears that India runs its air force as badly as it runs its railways.

With all due respect to the capabilities of Chinese aircraft, when asked for evidence of the shooting down of Indian aircraft, Pakistan's Defence Minister referred to posts on X and other social media platforms, which turned out to be fake! So, let's look at the real thing before jumping to conclusions!

I believe France and the US have been selling outdated and overpriced fighters like the Rafale and F-16 to their allies all this time, presumably pocketing kickbacks from the deals.

The French are now outraged because the Indians have trampled the reputation of their weapons.

What no one will tell you is that India fired 49 missiles, not counting drones, just 30 km from a Pakistani airbase housing a Chinese junk called the HQ-9, which is said to have an intercept range of 300 km. However, the missiles failed to intercept, and videos and images released by the Indian military showed the targets hit – 300 terrorist bases in Pakistan.

India is set to respond. China is a stronger adversary than the US. Incidentally, it is probably just a coincidence that this terrorist attack serves Western interests that divide them.

In the event of a conflict, all enemy aircraft of any generation that dare to appear in the disputed areas will be shot down in the shortest possible time.

India has hit many targets in Pakistan. If Pakistan had used Chinese weapons, it must be said that they would not have been able to stop it. Pakistan does not deny that India has destroyed 8-10 terrorist bases. There are also credible reports that several Indian aircraft were shot down by Pakistani air defenses, but given the scale of the strikes, the Indian military did the job.

While there is no evidence to support Pakistan's claim, there is plenty of evidence that China, Pakistan and India are equal in power. India could make a leap forward if it agreed to buy American weapons.

It's been a long time since the Indians shit themselves like that. Not since the hand-to-hand fight with the Chinese.

There is nothing clear about the losses yet. As well as about the damage caused. And both sides got it pretty badly. It's not just the losses in the air, but also on the ground. Each one claims more in their favor and understates their losses. Although Pakistan has China's intelligence data on air target designation on its side.

What's bad for Russia is that China is on Pakistan's side and is helping openly with everything it can, including satellites. Because now India will definitely leave Russia and go to the US, while we are friends with the Chinese and kiss each other on the gums. I wouldn't be surprised if the CIA staged this provocation with this war specifically to get India to join the US, to fight China.

We are on the side of China and on the side of India. And we are on good terms with Pakistan. So why should they go anywhere? It's not about weapons, but about the ability to use them correctly and conduct military operations correctly.
But if it is confirmed that 3 Raffles were shot down, then this is a good slap in the face to France and especially to the Indian Minister of Defense, who pushed through the deal on these aircraft. By the way, those Pakistani aircraft that the Indians shot down in response were destroyed, it seems, with the help of our air defense system, purchased and delivered to India. So far, it seems, there is talk of two aircraft.

I hope these feebleminded people won't ruin our weekend. They can't even understand that Small Nasty Britain is the main instigator of conflicts in Hindustan. Not a word about the role of the impudent in this conflict. It wasn't terrorists who worked in the terrorist attack, but saboteurs, with the support of English agents in the PMVR (Pakistan intelligence service).

And who set the Russian Federation and Ukraine against each other? If we are guided by the principle "who benefits?", then it was also the West, which is currently the main beneficiary of the SVO. So we turned out to be no less feeble-minded than "these".

You all must understand: if it weren't for us now and on their land, then in a few years they will be on our land and not on a comparable scale, when the West prepared them and prepared itself. Ukraine would have been set against Russia anyway, especially since there, in Ukraine, they considered Russia an enemy and Russians inferior, many even during the USSR, I am a witness myself. And now all the youth and those a little older have had their brains washed very thoroughly since childhood that we are their enemies.
So choose: either the SVO in Ukraine now, to mitigate a greater threat, or a large-scale war on our territory with unimaginable losses and destruction, already in the near future, with the same actors in Ukraine, who are rearmed and reinforced by the Western gang, and us.
        There is no third option.
The fact is that the West, or rather Europe and England, no longer have resources and their stagnation has begun. Those who deal with the world economy see this.
The former CMEA countries after the collapse and the former USSR countries that joined the European Union, they gobbled up. Now one of the ways out is war. Well, who to fight with, for resources? The answer is obvious. But not ourselves, so the Ukrainians contracted or they were contracted, but did not have time to prepare, we got ahead of them and now they all have huge problems. We will develop, Russia is self-sufficient and the people are talented, but they cannot without our resources.
I ask cowards and other faint-hearted people not to speak out, of which there are many here. I ask real citizens of Russia to write on the matter.

Russian and Ukrainian oligarchs are not actually in the red, but have been in the black for several tens of billions every year for all the years of the SVO. Or is this not a case of "let's see who benefits"? After all, it is only the West that benefits, isn't it, for example, the mechanic John, and the farmer Hans, the hairdresser Juan and the cook Michel, and it is oh so beneficial for them that the mechanic Mykola fights with the builder Ivan (not for the capitalist financial circles of Britain, the USA, France, Ukraine, Russia, Germany, etc., "earning" billions), but for ordinary people it is beneficial that in some part of the world some ordinary people enter into a shootout with other ordinary people?
