Russian specialists have developed a new generation of loitering munitions of the Lancet family. This was reported by ZALA, a UAV manufacturer. It is noted that the new munitions were named "Product 51" and "Product 52" and differ from their predecessors in their "intellectual capabilities."

"Product 51" and "Product 52" have undergone a deep modernization of hardware and software. Equipped with new communication channels and a new intelligent guidance system

– the developers explain.

They add that an important advantage of the upgraded Product 51 is its launch using a single-use (compact) launcher.

This significantly reduced the time required to prepare for launch and ensured the mobility of calculations, thereby increasing safety.

– experts emphasize.

In turn, military experts, commenting on the fact of the development of a new generation of loitering munitions, note that this significantly expands the possibilities of their use in the zone of a special military operation.

Let us recall that the Russian Armed Forces use Lancets as long-range precision weapons. In particular, these loitering munitions are used for counter-battery warfare and the destruction of enemy SIGINT and EW systems, as well as other targets located in rear areas.

Let us add that Russian servicemen note the successful work of the Lancets in conjunction with the ZALA reconnaissance UAV. According to them, the efficiency of this tandem is no less than 90%.

Strange! I heard the names "product 51" and "product 52" a long time ago, when "Lancet-3M" appeared! As explained in the article, "product 51" is a UAV with an X-shaped wing and an X-shaped tail unit ... (sometimes they "say": 1,5X < one and a half x > scheme! ); that is, "Lancet-3M"! "Product 52" is a UAV with 2 X-shaped wings (sometimes they "say": 2X < two x > scheme), that is, "Lancet-1" and "Lancet-3"! Then came the "Lancet-53" ("product 53"), equipped with AI guidance and launched from tubular launch vehicles, with the possibility of assembling the launch vehicle like an MLRS... and the "Lancet-55" ("product 55"), a 4-propeller UAV with fiber optic guidance!

I wonder if these products still fly on Nvidia Tegra hardware? Or are they already equipped with more modern processors? The same Nvidia?
It would be funny if it weren't so sad. We blame Ukraine for fighting with foreign weapons, but we make our own weapons? And what will happen if they don't deliver these processors? Darkness...
