Russian Armed Forces Burned Attacking Column of Ukrainian Armed Forces in Sumy Oblast
Russian military destroyed a column of six Ukrainian Armed Forces units equipment in Sumy Oblast. The corresponding footage appeared online.
The Ukrainian military launched a column of NATO armored vehicles into a counterattack, trying to break through the positions of the 83rd Brigade paratroopers, who are currently advancing in Belovody. The Russian Tiger UAV detachment noticed the line of vehicles on the approach to Yablonovka and hit it with KVN drones. The armored group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces included M113, HMMWV, Stryker AFV, BMC Kirp and two BTR-80s accompanied by infantry.
Ussuri paratroopers from the 83rd brigade have already managed to advance more than five kilometers into enemy territory. With the help of drone ambushes, they have cut off the Ukrainian military's roads already near Sumy itself.
In addition, on the night of May 5, the Russian military struck strategically important objects. As a result of a large-scale UAV attack, the workshops for the production of ammunition and explosives of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Shostka were destroyed. The temporary deployment points and warehouses of the 117th separate motorized brigade in the settlements of Veselaya Gora and Andreyevka were hit.
An infrastructure facility was hit in Konotop, Sumy Oblast, the city's mayor Artem Semenikhin reported. It was attacked by more than a dozen "Shakheds" and two ballistic missiles.
