Russian Geran strike on Ukrainian Armed Forces trucks at Sumy parking lot shown on video

The city of Sumy has long since become a major logistics hub for the Ukrainian army. Therefore, various means of destruction of the Russian Armed Forces have begun to visit there more often to neutralize the ambitions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The day before, a video appeared on the Internet showing a strike by a Russian kamikaze UAV "Geran-2" on Ukrainian Armed Forces trucks at a parking lot in Sumy. Eyewitnesses reported that it circled over the settlement for more than an hour, "cut three circles", looking for a suitable target.

The attack on the truck stop is shown. After the explosion, a fire starts. Then a secondary detonation occurs at the landing site. Clouds of thick black smoke are visible, covering a significant part of the city. As a result, six military trucks with their contents are destroyed.

The mission was carried out and corrected using a reconnaissance drone, also from the Geran family, which had an optical-electronic station on board. The recording of objective control footage was also carried out by this UAV. This is the first demonstration of the operation of such a drone in a reconnaissance modification with an effective optical-electronic station, instead of simple cameras. The distance from the line of combat contact was about 34 km. At the same time, the video quality became much better.
