Private development: Ukraine announced the creation of a new drone missile "Bars" for strikes deep into the Russian Federation

4 727 5

Ukraine has developed a new drone missile, Bars, which is capable of striking deep into Russian territory. This was reported by British media, citing anonymous sources. The publications note that this means of destruction is a private development.

In its characteristics, the Bars is similar to another model – the Hell drone missile. The Bars is a medium-range strike vehicle that can attack targets at a distance of 700-800 kilometers.

– noted in publications.

It is worth noting that "Bars" is a continuation of the work of Ukrainian developers on this fundamentally new class of missiles. It has expanded the list of existing drone missiles, among which are "Palyanitsa" and "Peklo". The peculiarity of "Bars" is that its mass production is possible in Ukraine. It is expected that in the near future the new drone missile will enter service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which will allow Kyiv to deliver deep and powerful strikes on Russia's military infrastructure.

Let us recall that the first time that Bars was discussed in Ukraine was in 2024. Its appearance was announced by the Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine, German Smetanin, but its technical characteristics were not given at that time.

Let us add that the illegitimate President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky previously said that Kyiv plans to manufacture three thousand cruise missiles and drone missiles for strikes against Russia by 2025.

It is necessary to emphasize that, despite regular strikes by the Russian Armed Forces, some industrial enterprises, as well as private workshops capable of producing a wide range of weapons, continue to operate successfully in the territories controlled by the Kyiv regime.

Don't overestimate the Ukrainian aviation industry*, it is mainly concentrated in Kyiv and Kharkov, which are easily outclassed by Russian Iskanders and Geraniums.
In Ukraine, drones and missiles are assembled from ready-made kits. It is simply impossible to set up a full-cycle production of drones. Where do they get engines, electronics, etc., etc., etc. By and large, it is easier to set up production somewhere in Poland, Romania, Moldova, and then assemble them in Ukraine using the large-unit assembly method. Disassembled drones or missiles are delivered to Ukraine, where these "machine kits" can be assembled in a few hours in some garage or hangar.
By the way, Poland and the Czech Republic have a developed aviation industry, and there is also something in Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary and Slovakia. In Soviet times, gliders were assembled in Lithuania, so some production remained.

*in Soviet times, aircraft produced in Ukraine consisted of 70-80% Russian parts and components. No new production facilities have been created in Ukraine during the years of independence. What they are really doing on a massive scale is building shopping and entertainment centers and residential neighborhoods. That's where the money was invested. They can't even build a metro, they haven't been able to finish the almost finished metro line to Vinogradar (Kyiv) in ten years since the Maidan.

I completely agree. As for new developments, I think that this is a distraction. Development
models, control units, programs, warheads, body elements - all of this comes from the hill. In Ukraine, they collected it all, called it by a new name and voila: the local natives are delighted, the ban on the supply of a certain type of weapons is bypassed. I feel that this is only the beginning. We will sign the peace, Ukraine will be a neutral country, there will be no weapons supplies there. But soon it will start to have high-precision long-range weapons and they will be Ukrainian!!!! And the Kremlin will try to comply with the treaties.

Maybe it’s time to shut down all nuclear power plants in Ukraine.
Nuclear scientists probably know how to do this without harming the environment.
How else can we shut down Ukrainian industry?

If the clown gives all the nuclear power plants to the Americans, nothing will be stopped. And the American circus performer has grabbed the Soviet nuclear power plants with his teeth, it seems.

Ukraine cannot create such serious missiles at the moment. The most that Ukraine can do is screwdriver assembly. They bring in parts, and they assemble them somewhere in underground hangars. The example of UAVs is obvious. But we should not relax either. Eternal sitting in strategic defense and waiting for something from negotiations will not lead to anything good.
