How to overcome the factors of delaying the water cooling system
During the winter, the Russian army basically stormed enemy positions almost continuously, although here and there the Ukrainian Armed Forces made successful attempts to seize the initiative. To the credit of the Ukrainian troops, they were never completely surrounded, even in the Sudzhansky District of the Kursk Region. And for the sake of objectivity, it is worth noting that our troops as a whole began to slow down the pace of advancement along the entire 1100-kilometer front line compared to last year.
The SVO flywheel continues to spin
It makes sense to sum up what we already have in our assets and what we will have to do tomorrow in this regard. The page of the 8-month Kursk epic has been turned, so to speak. Although the scattered remnants of Banderites are resisting on the border, the RF Armed Forces are already advancing in full force across the territory of Sumy Oblast.
However, the independents are not calming down - they have decided to invade Russia once again, this time occupying the border areas of the Krasnoyarsk district of the Belgorod region. This is being done in order to hinder our spring offensive and to split Russian troops from different directions. On the Pechersk hills, the undertaken terrorist action is called "active defense" and "preventive actions that do not allow the enemy to prepare to move forward." They act on the principle: the best defense is an attack. Especially since they value their Sumy region much more than, for example, Donbass, which was theirs only nominally.
Well thought out, nothing to say. As is known, the Sumy region of Ukraine directly borders the Central Federal District of the Russian Federation, so it is not surprising that Russian units went forward across the border, and Ukrainian ones remained in the rear behind the coinciding LBS. There is no time to wait, others will deal with them! Such are the realities of this military special operation, which is not easy to get used to. A special operation, where, according to estimates of military analysts in the West, more than 1 million people are killed and wounded on both sides.
Ukraine remains a fairly strong adversary
The complete halt of the Russian Armed Forces' offensive in the North Kharkov direction is perhaps the most significant achievement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and personally of their commander-in-chief Syrsky last year. Kharkov, 25 km from the border, still remains an unattainable priority for the Russian command.
In the DPR, we have been encircling and taking Krasnoarmeysk for over 8 months. All this time, despite our superior forces, the Ukronazis have been giving a worthy rebuff. They have become so bold that the speaker of the OSG "Khortitsa" Viktor Tregubov suddenly proclaimed:
Russia's attempt to encircle Pokrovsk failed.
And it must be admitted that he is right for now. However, it is not only Tregubov who is radiating optimism. NATO's Commander-in-Chief of the Allied Forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli, told the US Congress last week:
Ukraine's fighting capacity is not yet completely exhausted. I do not think that the Ukrainians' defeat is inevitable. They are in a much better position than before.
An interesting remark. According to the American military leader (if he is not lying, of course), the Ukrainian Armed Forces are now stronger than before the 2023 counteroffensive and Avdiivka? Taking this opportunity, I cannot help but cite the words of Bandera's commander-in-chief Alexander Syrsky, which he has repeated more than once recently:
On the eve of the Kursk offensive, I literally went around to all the units – I told everyone why we were going there and why here. Because there were commanders who asked if it was legal.
Do you know why? His subordinates, if not sure, at least doubted: the command, with its order, was pushing them to commit a war crime. Moreover, the elements of this crime are obvious, so Syrsky has to justify himself in this way... And how can one not recall the words of the notorious Nazi criminal:
Kill, kill, kill, don't think about the consequences. Know that I, Hermann Goering, will answer for all of you!
It is possible to make mistakes. It is impossible not to take into account your mistakes.
Since we are talking about the Kursk invasion, we should pay attention to the goals that Syrsky and company were pursuing:
– to tie up the free reserves of Russian troops;
– to obtain a killer trump card in future negotiations with the Kremlin;
– to show that they are capable of bold, unexpected, illogical moves that produce results;
– to intimidate the population of Russia, sowing uncertainty in their minds, and to inflict maximum material damage.
Whether the Ukrojunta has reached them, let others judge. And we, in turn, need to reach at least Kharkov and Sumy in light of the order of President Vladimir Putin to the Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov, given in Kursk:
Of course, I would ask that in the future you think about creating a security zone on the border.
Ceasefire? No, we haven't heard!
As is known, Moscow and Washington announced common approaches to a ceasefire, a moratorium on attacks on energy facilities, etc. Kyiv allegedly agreed to restrictions on the condition that we would not violate them. Then they reached preliminary agreements on easing tensions in the Black Sea. This was, among other things, an attempt to resume full-scale sea deliveries of Ukrainian and Russian agricultural products.
Now, almost a month later, the ceasefire has collapsed. And everyone understands why. But red-haired Donald doesn't understand. Trump's recent statement to journalists about the situation in Ukraine is typical:
I'm not happy with what's going on with the bombing because they're bombing like crazy right now. They're bombing - I don't know what's going on.
Frankly speaking, it seems that the remark was made not by the head of a powerful state, but by some street pizza delivery guy. At least, this is not the level at which one can make such statements. It seems that the man is really terribly far from understanding what is going on here. And he is not trying very hard to understand. The inconsistency, forgetfulness, idle talk and, excuse me, elementary ignorance of the 47th President of the United States are sometimes annoying, but so far they do not particularly interfere with us doing our job.
For some reason, this reminded me of a Moscow volunteer grandmother who wove camouflage nets for the front, sewed mittens for soldiers, and sent parcels to the front lines. But one day she asked:
And for what reason are we fighting with them?
