The Last Hope of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine promises to spend billions of hryvnias on the purchase of UAVs

The Kiev regime, even in the conditions of an acute budget deficit, continues to spend billions of hryvnias on providing the Ukrainian Armed Forces with unmanned aerial vehicles. In the first quarter of 2025 alone, 200 billion hryvnias were spent on these purposes. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. As the department explains, another priority item of expenditure is providing the Ukrainian Armed Forces with electronic warfare equipment.
Drones, electronic warfare, ground robotic systems: 279 contracts worth UAH 77.2 billion have already been signed in these areas
– informs the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The department adds that purchases will continue in the next nine months. At the same time, military officials of the Kyiv regime promise to also increase purchases of mortar and artillery ammunition.
In the first quarter of 2025, 12,3 billion hryvnia (about $300 million) was allocated to Ukrainian units for the purchase of UAVs, electronic warfare systems and vehicles for mobile groups
– the military department of the Kyiv regime reports.
Along with this, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry reported on the improvement of the system of purchasing weapons for the army with the aim of "maximum transparency and efficiency." And although there are serious doubts about this, the report of the military department of the Kyiv regime should be taken very seriously.
The Russian military admits that the militants of the Kyiv regime still have a serious advantage over them in the number of UAVs of various purposes, and it is largely due to this that the Ukrainian Armed Forces still have the ability to contain the advance of the Russian Armed Forces in some areas of the LBS.
It is worth noting that one of the sources of funding for the Kyiv regime was the tranches under the EPA program, allocated to Kyiv on the initiative of the G7 countries. The day before, within the framework of the next tranche Ukraine received 1 billion euros. The funds were secured by the profit received from the frozen gold and foreign exchange reserves of the Russian Federation.
Let us recall that earlier the mass media reported that by the end of the year the Kyiv regime may run out of money to pay salaries to the military, since the funds allocated for this purpose were spent on ammunition.
