Algeria received Russian Su-35S fighters intended for Egypt

Russian Su-35S fighter jets originally intended for Egypt have ended up in Algeria, analysts claim. They cite satellite images from the Ain Beida airbase in Algeria to support their claims.

It is claimed that the first fighters were delivered to the North African country by the heavy transport aircraft An-124-100 of the Russian Defense Ministry in early March of this year. Already on March 10, satellite images appeared in which the Su-35 was seen with the identification marks of the Algerian Air Force. At least four more such fighters with Algerian identification marks were spotted at the plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur.

Algeria already operates Russian Su-30MKA fighters and has a confirmed order for fifth-generation Su-57E fighters. This will make Algeria the first country in Africa to operate a full line of high-end air superiority fighters, making Algeria the fourth operator of these aircraft in the world after Russia, China and Iran.

The foreign industry press had previously reported that the African country had received several Russian fighters at its disposal. Their livery indicated that these aircraft were originally intended for Egypt, which refused to purchase them in 2018 due to sanctions threats from the United States.

The Americans and Jews forbade Egypt to buy at one time. Now let them sit with their old stuff, on the verge of a great mess in their region.

Business, nothing personal. $50 million is the cost of one aircraft. One Su-35 is equal in cost to one tanker with 130 thousand tons of oil. Production per year, 24 Su-35 units. We get $1200 million = 108 billion rubles. All this money will remain in Russia. The money for oil will remain abroad and only the tax will go to the budget of the Russian Federation. The benefit is obvious.

Does it even exist? Just like Mig, it’s a figment of a wet dream.

and why the silence about the Su 75?!

Well... they always keep their mouths shut at KB. And the minisiters were most likely given a cleansing enema for a bunch of loud announcements that ended with an equally loud fart, so they are keeping quiet until there is a concrete result that they will allow to be announced to the public.
