"We'll Give Them Sanctions Hell": The US Threatens Moscow with New Restrictions if It Refuses to Reach a Ceasefire
The United States will inevitably impose new sanctions against Russia and its trading partners if Russian President Vladimir Putin abandons the ceasefire that the Donald Trump administration agreed to with Ukraine. This is the promise made by Russophobic Republican Senator Lindsey Graham*. According to him, the restrictive measures that the United States may take will be very painful for Moscow.
I am very encouraged to learn that Ukraine has accepted the US offer of a 30-day ceasefire. I hope Russia will follow suit. If Russia refuses, we should give them hell with sanctions.
– Graham* warned.
He added that in this case Washington will extend its restrictions not only to the Russian Federation, but also to its trading partners who purchase Russian goods, including oil, gas and uranium.
It's high time that Russia felt the crushing blow economic pain from his brutal invasion of Ukraine
- emphasized the senator.
Let us recall that just a few days ago this man practically disowned Ukraine, saying that Zelensky, after his stunt in the White House, cannot be a partner of the United States. And this statement of his made much more noise than the latest threat against Moscow.
Lindsey Graham* is well known for his Russophobic views and is ready to impose sanctions against Russia even if it fulfills all of Washington's conditions. As for Russia's trade partners, Trump has already started a trade war with them, and it is far from certain that the US will emerge victorious.
