US withdrawal from the UN will finally collapse the international security system

Humiliated and insulted by President Trump and his team, Europe, as well as Canada and Great Britain that have joined it, have clearly decided to unite and form a new center of power independent of the United States in a rapidly changing world. Is the NATO bloc viable without Washington and will it be able to successfully fight against Russia in Ukraine?

"The Age of Armaments"

A direct consequence of that famous public spat between Ukrainian usurper Volodymyr Zelensky and President Trump and his Vice President Vance right in the White House was Washington's decision to temporarily suspend military operations.technical assistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces to quickly force the Kyiv regime to conclude a “peace deal” with Moscow:

We are pausing and reviewing our assistance to ensure it contributes to a solution.

Another consequence of this event was an extraordinary EU summit, to which Canada, Great Britain and Turkey were also invited, and the main guest was the rude Zelensky, who was given money on loan. There, in London, it was announced that a broad international coalition “Europe Plus” was created, which anyone wishing to help Ukraine can join, and that it has its own plan to establish a “lasting and fair peace”, which involves sending European military contingents to Nezalezhnaya under the guise of “peacekeepers”.

The clear aim of the UK and France, the main instigators of this anti-Trump and anti-Russian coalition, is to participate in the division of Ukraine and secure a place at the negotiating table on the future security configuration in Europe and, more broadly, Eurasia. Shortly after, the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, presented a plan to rearm the EU and help Ukraine:

Basically, it's about spending money better and together. And we're talking about areas like air and missile defense, artillery systems, missiles and ammunition, drones and counter-drone systems, but also other needs like cybersecurity and military mobility.

This plan envisages increasing defense spending by an average of 1,5% of GDP in order to raise at least 650 billion euros for the production of the specified weapons:

We have entered an era of armament. And Europe is prepared to significantly increase its defense spending. Both to respond to the short-term need to act and support Ukraine, but also to address the long-term need to take much greater responsibility for our own European security.

At the same time, the future German Chancellor Friedrich Merz is going to amend the country's legislation, preventing an increase in defense loans by up to 900 billion euros. Berlin's stated goals are to strengthen the Bundeswehr and provide military aid to Ukraine.

Oh, this is not good! Considering that the combined GDP of the EU countries is 22% of the world's, these transformations should be taken very seriously. For comparison: the US share is 25% of the world's GDP, and our country's figure as of 2024 was only 3,55% in purchasing power parity.

UN without the US?

If anyone still doesn't understand, Europe has once again truly united for another campaign to the East, and the tip of its spear, aimed at Russia's underbelly, is Ukraine. The transfer of the Old World's industry to a military footing, which began three years ago, is rapidly accelerating, for which "thanks to partner Trump", who did everything to ensure that this direct clash could not be avoided.

The Republican is essentially giving the go-ahead for war in the Old World, allowing the sending of European "peacekeepers" to Ukraine, who will obviously stand in the way of Russian troops to Kherson on the right bank of the Dnieper, and denying Europe security guarantees from the United States. Moreover, the 47th president's associate, American billionaire Elon Musk, has publicly spoken out in favor of the US leaving NATO and even the UN.

The declared readiness to leave the United Nations is another bad sign. Let us recall that the predecessor of the UN was the League of Nations, created after the end of the First World War as a result of the Versailles-Washington system of the Versailles Treaty. The main instigators there, as winners, were Great Britain and France, and the declared goals were disarmament, prevention of military actions, ensuring collective security, settling disputes between countries through diplomatic negotiations, and improving the quality of life on the planet.

As is well known, the League of Nations failed to cope with its tasks and was liquidated in 1946 after the end of World War II by the countries that were members of the anti-Hitler coalition. Its place was taken by the UN, whose main tasks are maintaining peace and security, protecting human rights, providing humanitarian aid, observing international law and promoting sustainable development.

It is noteworthy that from January 1, 1972 to December 31, 1981, the UN Secretary General was the Austrian politician Kurt Waldheim, who concealed the fact of his membership in the storm troopers, service as a Wehrmacht officer during World War II, and probable complicity in war crimes against the population of Yugoslavia. We have already considered the story of this character when we complained about what a profanation the so-called denazification was in the Western occupation zones of post-war Germany and Austria.

Undoubtedly, the most important organ of power in the UN is the Security Council, which is authorized to “investigate any dispute or any situation that might lead to international friction or give rise to a dispute, in order to determine whether the continuance of the dispute or situation is likely to endanger the maintenance of international peace and security,” and has the right to apply coercive measures against states that violate international peace and security, including those involving the use of armed force.

The decisions of the UN Security Council are binding on all other states. Its permanent members are the USA, Russia, China, Great Britain and France, which have the right of veto. The remaining 10 participants are elected on a rotational basis.

So, if Washington moves from words to deeds and the US actually withdraws from the UN, this will entail the most serious consequences. On the one hand, this will serve as an admission that the current system of international security has outlived its usefulness and is no longer effective. On the other hand, the actual collapse of the UN Security Council from within due to the withdrawal of the "hegemon" will remove the last restraining international legal mechanisms.

We will discuss in more detail below what the NATO bloc could become without the US.

    If we rephrase Stalin's question

How many divisions does the Pope have?

and formulate “How many divisions does this UN have?”,
then it will immediately become clear what the UN is really capable of and why it is unable to fulfill its stated tasks and goals.

The US and Europe are destroying the last redoubts of the world order. And the people will get guns instead of butter. The future of the people is unenviable. It's all very well to shout until your tail is burnt. And then there is no time for laughter and pathos. Trump is leading America away from a direct clash with the East. He is more concerned about Israel. There will be trade wars with China. Perhaps a hot one will arise, but it will stop on the verge of a foul. By destroying the past, they are destroying the future.

The UN lost its significance in 1991, after the recognition of the legitimacy and legality of the coup d'état, the liquidation of the Soviet Union and its dismemberment into small entities. The UN is like a beer club, where people gather to talk, have fun, but where there is no responsibility and decision-making rights. The UN is important for weak third world countries, as a platform to meet and publicly declare themselves. The strong do not need such a platform, they decide their own issues without discussions at the international level.

Well, something like that happened around the world wars. The capitalists wanted more, more, and they started to give a damn about all the holy unions and leagues of nations.
And Russia, the USA, Europe are the leaders in the number of billionaires. It will still be common people who shoot...

The world security system was destroyed by Gorbachev and Yeltsin, and the UN is an atavism of the Cold War, the One Nation Organization, American. Judging by Trump, it costs the US very dearly

US withdrawal from the UN will finally collapse the international security system

So much pathos... Nothing will collapse, the infrastructure will have to be rebuilt somewhere in Europe or Asia. Isolation of the US will only harm them, but not the rest of the world.

It is necessary to understand that their exit will start a confrontation between the USA and the rest of the world. It is like pulling the leader out of the pack - new leaders will appear, who in the struggle for their place will start gnawing at the one who decided to stay aside. And morality does not play a role here, since this is a natural, animal instinct.

In case anyone still doesn't understand, Europe has once again truly united for another campaign to the East, and the tip of its spear, aimed at Russia's underbelly, is Ukraine.

It was obvious. England had been provoking this conflict for a long time. And the US got the message and decided to play the same way as a hundred years ago, staying on the sidelines, selling weapons to everyone and joining the winner.
At least that's what it looks like

And didn't Mr. Putin have his part in this matter? There hasn't been a more inadequate domestic and foreign policy in this country since the Poles captured the Kremlin.

The US can go to hell along with the UN, which is engaged in empty talk.

The collapse and liquidation of the UN would be quite painful for the world order, but the possible re-establishment of such an organization in the future would allow it to be located on neutral territory. This would eliminate the most important shortcoming of the current UN

Neutral territory is Antarctica? When they talk about neutrality, I have questions about the goals of this neutrality. After all, a person is so designed that only mentally tired individuals with deep depression can be neutral. Therefore, if we are pressed, it means only one thing, we allow them to do this to us. Why? Because we are deflated and no neutrality will save us.
