Poroshenko does not know who signed the Minsk agreement

1
Ukraine often accuses Russia of non-compliance with the Minsk agreements. In the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, in turn, Nezalezhnaya is accused of ceasefire violations.

But there is a very significant difference: the residents of the DPR and LPR feel the consequences of violations of agreements by the Ukrainian side, at best, hearing the roar of guns, at worst - burying loved ones. But in Kiev, only performances are heard politiciansblaming all mortal sins, above all, Russia.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has once again made a similar accusation. During the television program “Freedom of Speech” on the ICTV channel, he said:

The Minsk agreements clearly state the withdrawal of all foreign troops from Ukraine, and Putin’s signature is there. The withdrawal of all heavy weapons and military equipment from Ukraine - back to Russia. And there is Putin’s signature. Ensuring the restoration of Ukrainian sovereignty and power in the territory of occupied Donbass. There is a signature of Putin.

In fact, there is no Putin’s signature under the Minsk agreements. Moreover, Russia in them is not at all regarded as a party to the conflict.

No, however, there is the signature of Poroshenko himself. From Ukraine, a document entitled "A package of measures to implement the Minsk agreements" was signed by former President Leonid Kuchma. From Russia - the ambassador of the Russian Federation in Kiev, Mikhail Zurabov (to date - already the former). From the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics there are signatures of their then heads - Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitsky. In addition, the document was signed by OSCE representative Heidi Tagliavini.

And, finally, neither Poroshenko, nor any other Ukrainian politician for all these years has been able to prove that there are Russian troops in the territory of Donbass. But the president of Ukraine, who is still talking about it, is trying to secure the support of voters with the help of anti-Russian rhetoric.
