TFR wanted two more suspects in the “Arashukov case”

On February 6, 2019, it became known that as part of a criminal investigation into the theft of natural gas owned by PJSC Gazprom in the amount of more than 30 billion rubles, two suspects were put on the federal wanted list by the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR). This is stated in the statement, which is posted on the official website of the department.



We are talking about top managers of gas enterprises: Umar Kalmykov, executive director of the branch of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Stavropol LLC in Nevinnomyssk, and Uali Evgamukove, acting director of Budennovskgazprombytservice JSC.

It should be recalled that on January 30, 2019, in St. Petersburg, Raul Arashukov, adviser to the head of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz, was detained and later transferred to Moscow, who, according to investigators, is the organizer of a large criminal community. On the same day, right in the meeting room of the Council of Federations of Russia, the senator from Karachay-Cherkessia Rauf Arashukov, the son of the aforementioned Raul Arashukov, was detained. He is suspected of having committed a number of particularly serious crimes, including two murders.

The TFR reports that investigative actions and operational measures to identify other crimes and accomplices are ongoing. In total, six people have already been arrested in the Arashukov case: Raul Arashukov, Rauf Arashukov, Ruslan Arashukov, Guzer Khashukaev, Nikolai Romanov, Igor Travinov and Alan Kyatov.

Rauf Arashukov has already been charged with crimes under Part 3 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code (participation in a criminal community), part 4 of Article 309 of the Criminal Code (pressure on a witness), part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code (murder). The rest of the persons pass under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code (fraud), Article 210 of the Criminal Code (organization and participation in the criminal community).
