Lithuanian State Security Department calls Russia the main threat

In order to somehow justify their existence, the Lithuanian special services have been doing the same simple trick for a year in a row - they declare the Russian threat.

The past 2018 was no exception. In their annual report, the Lithuanian State Security Department (DGB) and the second department of operational services under the Ministry of Defense named Russia one of the main threats to the republic.

The list of claims against Russia does not change much either. Traditionally, it includes:

- recruiting citizens, politicians, officials and public figures of Lithuania;

- manipulation of the Soviet past and propaganda against Lithuanian statehood.

After the United States from scratch created and carried a fake about Russian interference in the elections via the Internet, the menu of the Lithuanian special services in the most natural way, however, with a certain delay in time due to the local mentality, an item appeared about the Russian cyber security threat.

In order to gain weight in their own eyes and those of others, intelligence experts expressed the opinion that Russia uses “technologically advanced cyber tools that cannot be detected using conventional security systems” against Lithuania.

And this is only the report (DGB) of Lithuania and the second department of operational services under the Ministry of Defense. This means that there is also the first department, and possibly the third, which also need to make imagination to compose such nonsense.

However, the reports of the Children's State Children's Hospital and the various departments of the Lithuanian Defense Ministry are unlikely to differ greatly.
