Tucker Carlson Calls for Dissolution of North Atlantic Alliance

16

Such a Western interstate structure as the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (North Atlantic Alliance or NATO) has long lost its relevance and necessity. This was stated by the American journalist Tucker Carlson, who is close to US President Donald Trump, during a conversation with his British colleague Piers Morgan.

During the conversation, Carlson spoke in favor of disbanding the North Atlantic Alliance. In his opinion, NATO should not exist at all, its time has passed.

This is absurd.

- Morgan expressed his point of view, who does not agree with Carlson.

To this, Carlson drew attention with irony to a number of interesting historical and modern moments.

What is the point of NATO? "To keep the Soviets from invading Western Europe." Well, it's been 35 years since then. How did they keep the peace? We're currently in the bloodiest war in 80 years in the heart of Europe because of NATO.

- Carlson pointed out.

In turn, Morgan said that if Ukraine had managed to join NATO, Russia would not have started any SVO then.

It's super crazy. It's like an addiction, and I've been through an addiction, so I don't judge. But it's like I feel really bad, I need to drink a glass of vodka to feel better.

– Carlson noted.

Are you making fun of my mental health?

– Morgan asked.

Yeah, but I lived through it, so I know what it's like. It doesn't matter if it's NATO or vodka, they kill you, even though you blindly believe it saves you.

– added Carlson.

The American also noted that NATO started a war against Yugoslavia. It was clearly not a defense, since the Serbs did not attack NATO. Therefore, to say that NATO has always acted in defense is nonsense. Therefore, the British colleague should honestly admit this.

I wish they would bring the janitors' opinion...
Alas, alas. NATO is only getting stronger, according to the HPP

    T. Carlson spoke from the position of formal logic and in support of his country, because discord was emerging.
If NATO was initially created to counter the USSR, then when the goal was achieved and the enemy fell, the Alliance refocused on destroying the Russian Federation and taking over its natural resources...
Another thing is that now the organizer of the Alliance, the USA, is not interested in strengthening its European competitors.

In such a "savvy" police state as the United States, with its centuries-old colonialist "traditions" and powerful "shadow government", the temporary "front man" plays only a decorative role - a "mouthpiece/lightning rod" and the "independence" of his "decisions" is very limited.
I think that Trump has well understood the "lesson" when he was demonstratively "robbed of his victory in the elections" and oppressed under far-fetched pretexts. Therefore, it is unlikely that he will "move" against the interests of the "deep state" and abolish NATO (he only wants to minimize American costs for its maintenance, shifting them to other countries as much as possible).
This and other "alliances" are needed by the USA so that others can fight for their interests instead of them!
And, as long as the US authorities see their "main enemies (RF and PRC)" as undefeated, NATO will not go anywhere and all these "allies" will (unlike the post-Stalin USSR/RF, the US knows how to reliably "motivate" members of "alliances" to fulfill their "alliance obligations") participate in Washington's "Drang to the East", alas!

I think that by the end of Donald's term NATO will be gone. Yes He is determined, just like Carlson.

He made fun of NATO! good smile
The small NATO mongrels, like the jackal Tabaki under Sherkhan, have only just begun to get a taste for robbery (they have also ordered weapons from the "hegemons", tanks/missiles of all sorts, they are increasing/learning to attack their dwarf armies), having felt their "unpunished involvement in a big gang", in an aggressive attack "by the whole gang of bandits on one", and Tucker Carlson, with his such public "narratives", "ruins all their fun". wassat

NATO has only grown in the last two years. And no one asked Carlson's personal opinion there.

No NATO, there is a war in Europe, again. Again without US obligations. The overlord reserves the right to die for his stinking insoles of his ass-lickers. Japan and South Korea are not formally, but in fact, members of NATO. Russia versus China? That would also be good. The logic of historical analogies is rich over the past 300 years. Should I chew on it further?

The dollar has collapsed, Europe will freeze, NATO will fall apart. What kind of tough nut is this NATO-dollar-Europe that hasn't collapsed for the last 20 years for sure? When will it cease to exist?)))

Tucker Carlson is the man with the common sense.
But the world is not ruled by common sense, but by the basest feelings, alas, inherent in man.
Therefore, only a victory over NATO can destroy NATO.
    And this is war.
