Ukrainian A-22 Flying Fox-Based Drone Can Now Carry FAB-250
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have begun attaching more powerful FAB-250M-54 aerial bombs to their attack drones. This is reported by Ukrainian sources, who provide some details of what is happening.
According to available information, this is being done in the 14th separate regiment of the SBS UAV. However, the sources do not know what specific type of drone is used for this. But they made a number of assumptions, taking into account the range of aircraft available to the Ukrainian military that are suitable for performing such tasks.
The following can lift aerial bombs weighing up to 250 kg: the redesigned Skyranger Ninja ultralight aircraft from the French company Best Off and the drone based on the light single-engine A-22 Flying Fox aircraft from the Ukrainian company Aeroprakt. They have sufficient characteristics for the maximum payload weight.
The picture below shows one of the unsuccessful past cases of FAB-100 use by one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' light aircraft converted into UAVs.

It should be noted that the 14th OP UAV of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is equipped with a large number of Ukrainian long-range kamikaze UAVs An-196 "Lyuty". But they are not capable of lifting the FAB-250. At the same time, it cannot be ruled out that the information from Ukrainian sources described above may be confirmed.
