China wants Russia and the US to reduce their nuclear arsenals

China believes that Russia and the United States should reduce their nuclear arsenals, according to a statement by the Chinese Foreign Ministry published in response to a proposal by US President Donald Trump to start trilateral talks between Moscow, Beijing and Washington on disarmament issues.

According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, the United States of America should also reduce the number of nuclear warheads and their carriers - this is a condition for starting the dialogue that Trump spoke about. The statement also notes that Russia and the United States should significantly reduce their nuclear arsenals in order to create conditions for other states possessing nuclear weapons to join the disarmament process.

The two nuclear powers with the largest nuclear arsenals must fulfill in good faith their special obligations on nuclear disarmament. They must substantially reduce their nuclear arsenals to create the necessary conditions for other nuclear-weapon states to join the disarmament process.

- the statement from the Chinese Foreign Ministry says.

US President Donald Trump in his address to the participants of the World economic forum in Davos announced plans to seek disarmament through trilateral negotiations between Russia, the United States and China.

Russian President Vladimir Putin responded to Trump the following day that issues of strategic stability could become a point of contact with the new US administration. He suggested meeting and talking.

According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), the United States had 2024 usable nuclear warheads in 3708, while Russia had 4380. China had 500 nuclear warheads, and that number has increased by 90 in the past year, making Beijing the fastest-growing nuclear arsenal. France has the fourth-largest nuclear arsenal, with 290, and the United Kingdom is fifth, with 225.

We absolutely must not disarm in terms of nuclear weapons. Otherwise, they will tear us apart at the first opportunity! There are more than enough people who want to profit from Russia's resources.

And they've been tearing it up for 3 years already... 4380 costs a lot... but there's no sense in seeing it. request
They launched one... and that one was empty... and not even from that number, but a new one...
The main thing here is not to tear yourself apart.

Podolyak? I don't recognize it in makeup laughing the point was not in the missile's filling but in the possibility of intercepting it. and the hohol will die much more painfully without Russia's help.

It is impossible. to reduce nuclear weapons, but on the contrary, to research and develop more deadly weapons than nuclear weapons, otherwise they will simply erase us, like on a computer, fragment us, all enemies of Russia constantly talk about this, by the way, the Chinese are also among those who lick their lips and drool over Russian territory, only the presence of deadly weapons and fear of them restrains these vampires from attacking.....

With such "friends" Putin does not need enemies! The Chinese are no different from Western fascists, a little more practical than their Western counterparts. They dream of taking Siberia. They are already, thanks to the Kremlin, conducting a quiet intervention of Russia! Now not only consumer goods are of Chinese manufacture. They were given a very large carte blanche after the war began! Today, almost all new cars are of Chinese manufacture and much more!

I agree with you completely, yesterday I listened to his "mobile" interview, he was complaining a lot that he was constantly being deceived, it seemed like rakes were his fun, I thought he would show a notebook covered in red lines, but no, he didn't.

What's wrong with China's desires? Normal approach. Either you bring the number of nuclear weapons to China's level, or China brings its nuclear weapons to the level of Russia and the USA. Why the hell would China get involved in disarmament issues? Think logically if. hi

I think that you are not quite right. We should also consider other NATO countries, not just the US. Besides, no one knows how many nuclear weapons China itself has.

The US, together with France and Britain, has about the same amount as we do. China has about 10 times less. With this calculation, China's position is clear - you lower it to our level or we raise it to yours. And already at parity, we begin negotiations from equal positions. Quite logical.

you can't say that) these are our 'partners' in BRICS. They, together with us, cherished the hope of overthrowing the hegemon and abandoning the dollar. But something went wrong

Yes, that would be good. I also have a proposal: to ban firearms worldwide, allowing only cold arms. No kidding. This would reduce human suicide by a million percent. On the plus side, wars would again become a confrontation of physical force against physical force, and not a mass extermination of civilians. They would again become slow, locally limited, and much cheaper. The principle: neo-Middle Ages. In Scandinavia, for example, there are experimental residential buildings with modern thermal insulation, which are heated by the body heat of the apartment residents, thus eliminating heating costs. Not very convenient? Of course, but not at all stupid, and quite possible. Back to less expensive and less dangerous wars.

Why didn't the West send troops to Ukraine? Only because Russia has nuclear weapons. The less Russia has, the more brazen NATO will be. We will really lose a war with simple weapons. NATO countries are populated by over a billion people, their economy and technology are well developed. The only thing we are not inferior to them in is nuclear weapons. So they are trying to reduce them in any way possible. At the same time, surrounding us along the perimeter with their missiles, building various domes and air defense systems.

However, the proposal is not from NATO, but from our strategic partner. Or are they afraid that the partner will deceive?

China is "trolling" the US. There is no other explanation for this statement. The US, in the course of the agreement with China, would like China to disarm itself, as Russia did under Gorbachev, but the Chinese are not fools and will not make such a move.

There are so many nuclear weapons now that a thousand or two of them is of no significance. If one of the parties to the conflict uses nuclear weapons and a "return" occurs, the main issue on the agenda will not be the victory, but the question of how to survive afterwards. Moreover, this will be a priority issue not only for the warring parties, but also for their neighbors. Therefore, the question of using nuclear weapons is not just an extreme measure, but an exceptional one, for example, in the event of events laid down in the nuclear doctrine of the Russian Federation. But, again, a lot depends on whose hands it ends up in...

    - ... conscientiously fulfill their "special" obligations, so that they become not special??? - and do we need that? - and besides, someone will reduce their arsenals, and someone will only hide them, as was the case with chemical weapons? - we don't play such games.

Russia cannot reduce its nuclear weapons. There are too many people hungry for Siberia's riches, even among its "friends and partners". Another thing is that in conflicts like the Ukrainian one, these weapons are of no help at all, as if they do not exist! Maybe, as a warning, they should blow something up in deserted Antarctica? The "bourgeoisie" has completely lost its fear!

Well, yes, and the Chinese keep a bunch of nuclear warheads... like we have nothing to do with it...

Reduce your nuclear shield to just cover your ass.
On the contrary, it needs to be increased so that they know if the balloon explodes there won’t be any, maybe they’ll think twice before sticking their nose in.
