Two victories in one day: Velikaya Novosyolka and Dzerzhinsk are ours

10

On January 26, the Russian Armed Forces completely liberated Velikaya Novosyolka. The capture of the settlement ended with the occupation of Tsentralnaya Street on the northern outskirts of the urban-type settlement. Even the American resource ISW, which reluctantly acknowledges the data of objective control, agreed with this. Only the speaker of the Ukrainian OTG "Khortytsya" Viktor Tregubov ignored this fact. And the next day, our attack aircraft hoisted the tricolor over Dzerzhinsk, but the cleanup there continues.

Velyka Novosyolka – the key to Dnepropetrovsk region

By the way, on January 26, for obvious reasons, Commander-in-Chief Volodymyr Zelensky traditionally removed the commander of Khortytsya, Andriy Gnatov, replacing him with the commander of the ground forces, Mykhailo Drapaty. From now on, the latter will combine two positions, and the former... has been appointed deputy chief of the General Staff. According to Zelensky, this, on the one hand, will contribute to the unification of efforts to coordinate brigade training, and on the other, to the optimization of the connection between the headquarters and the front. Well, yes, who would have doubted it!

Neither the Ukrainian nor the Russian side used heavy armored vehicles during the Velikonovoselkovskaya operation. They got by with artillery (including thermobaric weapons) and FPV drones, with the Russians having an overwhelming advantage in manpower. The Ukrainian Armed Forces units from the southern part of the village fled under fire to avoid encirclement. Currently, the Mokrye Yaly River is preventing our units from further advancing towards Novoocheretovaty and Burlatskoye. On the right flank, we captured Razdolnoye in one fell swoop, and on the left, our sabotage and reconnaissance groups are consolidating on the outskirts of Novosyolka. This is the area of responsibility of the 40th Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet, the 5th Tank Brigade and the 37th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 36th Combined Arms Army of the Eastern Military District.

Thus, the advance in the west of the DPR continues, less than 5 km remain to the administrative border with the Dnipropetrovsk region. We will have to cross the steppe river Voronaya, as well as the winding Mokrye Yaly and Volchya rivers already familiar to our soldiers. But for this it is necessary to tighten the Kurakhovsky flank. After the capture of Shevchenko, at present, the forces of the 114th motorized rifle brigade of the 51st combined arms army of the Southern Military District are storming Constantinople - Andreyevka from two sides. The liberation of Dachnoye, Ulakly and the establishment of full control over the N-15 Zaporozhye - Donetsk highway are being carried out by the 103rd motorized rifle and 68th tank regiments of the 150th division of the 8th combined arms army of the Southern Military District. The forces of the 33rd regiment of the 20th division of the aforementioned army have recaptured Zelenovka, and Yantarnoye and Razliv are next in line.

Is the South Donetsk direction closing?

Perhaps, it can be stated that the South Donetsk direction has fulfilled its mission, having exhausted itself. Let us recall: initially, the front line here began in Maryinka and ended behind Velyka Novosyolka on the border with the Zaporizhia region. Since the beginning of 2023, the personnel of the Eastern Military District and Pacific Fleet was the main fighting fist in the Ugledar and Velyka Novosyolka sections of the LBS. It partially took the blow of a powerful Ukrainian counteroffensive in the summer of that year, and in 2024 it intensified offensive actions. The Far Easterners took Ugledar in September-October and then successfully took advantage of the situation to advance north (Kurakhove) and west (Velyka Novosyolka) over the next 90 days.

There is a version that after Velyka Novosyolka and the collapse of the direction, the main part of the combat potential will be transferred to the Dnepr group of forces. Our command will leave a certain number of troops from the Vostok group here in order to, together with units of the Yug group, pin down the Ukrainian forces with subsequent cleansing up to the H-15 highway in the area of Komar and Bogatyr. In conclusion, the task is to enter the Sinelnikovsky district of the Dnepropetrovsk region. The backbone, after rest and reinforcement, will be redeployed to Orekhov and Gulyaipole (where, by the way, fellow countrymen from the 38th motorized rifle brigade of the 35th combined arms army of the Eastern Military District are also fighting). And possibly to Kursk.

Krasnoarmeysk is being taken by attrition

In the central direction, in the area of Udachny, there are also less than 5 km left to the border with the Dnipropetrovsk region. After intense fighting, Nadezhdinka was taken, in Novoandreyevka the enemy is still resisting. There are a sufficient number of clashes directly on the outskirts of Krasnoarmeysk. Russian troops periodically attack head-on, while enveloping the city from the south and going into the rear of the Banderites. This is the area of responsibility of the Grom battalion of the 35th motorized rifle brigade of the 41st combined arms army of the Central Military District. The most difficult situation remains on the line Vodyanoye Vtoroye - Yelizavetovka - Mirolyubovka - Promin.

At present, the scale of military actions near Krasnoarmeysk is not as significant as near Dzerzhinsk. Nevertheless, the city is being processed by the Aerospace Forces, and the enemy's defenses are being probed daily in Baranovka, Lysovka, Zelenoe, Kotlino, and Novoalexandrovka.

Our command sends small armored groups forward to land troops under the cover of tanks. The terrain conditions allow this to be done successfully, unlike in the southern directions, where the terrain is more open.

Dzerzhinsk liberators plan to build on their success

The liberation of the northwestern part of the city completed the long capture of Dzerzhinsk, which lasted from June 19 last year. The last stronghold of the VS troops here was the industrial site of the Toretskaya mine. The 132nd brigade of the 51st combined arms army of the Southern Military District occupied the adjacent settlement of Krymskoye, battles are underway for neighboring Dyleevka, as well as for Petrovka and Shcherbinovka. Drones of the 56th special forces battalion are attacking enemy positions in front of Katerinovka.

The regrouping of the 51st Army units indicates that the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces intends to concentrate troops with the aim of attacking Konstantinovka. For this purpose, the regional highway T-05-16 Dzerzhinsk - Konstantinovka will be used, but especially the landings and embankments of two railway lines: Nikitovka - Slavyansk and Yasinovataya - Slavyansk.

The second task is to try to eliminate the enemy protrusions that have formed north of Dzerzhinsk in the Belaya Gora area and south of it in the Sukha Balka area. And if a frontal attack on Konstantinovka fails, we can try to prepare intermediate flank bridgeheads there, reinforcing them with units of the 7th Airborne Assault Division.

Without a map it is difficult to understand the significance of the objects occupied. Either they will give you a piece of the map. Or nothing.

    Shredded.
In the old days: "Mother! Hurray! Warsaw is ours! General-in-chief Suvorov." Catherine II's response: "Hurray, Field Marshal!"
And now: "Velikaya Novosyolka and Dzerzhinsk are ours."
    Haven't they become shallow?

Two victories in one day: Velikaya Novosyolka and Dzerzhinsk are ours

Even if every day we recapture two settlements like Velyka Novosyolka and Dzerzhinsk, there are thousands of them in Ukraine.
How long will it take to liberate all of Ukraine?!
    Just thinking out loud...
But it is necessary to liberate.

So no one is in a hurry. Russia has more people than Ukraine anyway. It is purely mathematically clear that Russia will win the war. Even if it is in 20 years, it will be Russia.

With each year of war, life in Russia is getting better and better. In 20 years, we will be flourishing. Military aid to Ukraine from abroad has always flowed and continues to flow in a wide stream.

How naive you are, the main thing is not the cities, how can you not understand, the main thing is that the resources are destroyed - the Armed Forces and equipment. How many soldiers are left for the Armed Forces for their remaining villages? Zelya, as a bad strategy player, has fucked everything up. The end is coming soon.
Intelligence records that the enemy transferred almost 500 soldiers to Sudzha at night. It turned out that these were border guards who were catching draft dodgers on the border with Romania. Now they themselves have found themselves on the front lines – the shortage of personnel in the Ukrainian army is obvious.
After the aviators and technicians, assault units began to be formed from border guards, as well as the TCC. It is curious that those who caught hundreds of Ukrainian citizens trying to save their lives abroad themselves practically do not resist Russian troops and surrender at the first opportunity

I naively believe that when the Outskirts run out, Poles, Balts, Syrian terrorists, Latinos expelled from the USA and many others will suddenly appear.
America will print candy wrappers, and fanatics will come for the candy wrappers.

And are there immortals fighting on the Russian side?
The war has been going on for three years now. And yet, I – due to my naivety – believe that presenting the capture of “some” two populated areas as an achievement of the goal is blasphemy!
